Initially we were given the table in a dark corner. So we moved to the bar area tables. Our waitress was difficult to get so we relied on the busboy and another waitress. It had been about 20 years since I last visited and I don’t think we’ll be back anytime soon. Yellow lettuce…tore off the rusted edges

We can’t believe it’s taken us so long to try this place! Wow! What a find!! The bar area is great – lots of seating at the bar and high tops near the windows. The restaurant area is also lovely with table cloths and linen napkins. Very extensive wine list with amazing prices! And the FOOD…so much choice and absolutely delicious! I think we’ve found our new favourite place in Hoboken!

The service and atmosphere were great. I had much higher hopes. We ordered off the bar menu so maybe that’s why but the food was lack luster. We got the chicken sandwich that was honestly pathetic, the thinnest possible piece of chicken with dull colorless lettuce and tomato. Also the “medium rare” roast beef sandwich which was probably more well done than anything. The bread was soaked in butter and extremely greasy. The waffle fries were also disappointing and tasted frozen and greasy with nothing really in the middle. Sadly would not go back.

Not worth it for the price. Food is just ok, and cheeseburger came without cheese, and when asked for it they just put a slice of cold cheese on the burger. Burger was very dry with no condiments at all and there was miscommunication also with the side. We wanted instead of fries, some salad and instead there was a full side of salad we got charged for. Lamb was alright but wasn’t anything amazing. I don’t think we had an assigned waiter, had multiple people serving us and getting the check, not sure where the guy who took our order went. I get that was altered the meal but this wasnt anything crazy so I was disappointed they had a hard time getting cheese onto a burger.
