One of the best Korean place I’ve found. The tofu soup, army stew and udon was amazing and the portions are big and can be shared among two people. The side dishes are amazing! Highly recommended!

Food here is delicious and Nak Won has an extensive Korean menu full of soups, meats, and other delicious things to eat. Service is pretty hands-on but you can tell that they want you to enjoy your dish as best as you can. The atmosphere isn’t my favorite because it gets way too loud, but that’s not the restaurant’s fault. They have TVs playing some interesting Korean programs, not just the typical K-pop, and my friend and I found it pretty fun to watch what was going on while enjoying some fresh food.

Nak Won exceeded our expectations. The food portions are large. The quality of food is great. The menu has a large selection. The service was super attentive and they hosted our dinner party well! The ambiance is not modern, or trendy but I still think it’s a good sit down! We enjoyed the dining experience and would recommend!

The lemon garlic wings were pretty awesome, and it would be a mistake to not try them. The chicken curry was also pretty good, but the wings got the 5 star. The lemonade was a little bitter and needed some sugar.

This is a dining experience. It takes time, so if you are in a rush, come back another time. It’s always busy and usually a small wait, but it is very much worth it. I am impressed by what is accomplished with what seems to be a small staff. The hostess was also our server and multitasking like a pro. We got the fish pancake, trio party dish, and the short ribs. Everything was so flavorful and unlike anything we’ve had before. The prices are more than fair for the amount that you get. Worth it over and over again!

We absolutely love this restaurant. We have been visiting this restaurant regularly for more than 15 years and counting! The side dishes are great and tasty and you can refill. The portion is big, always be sure you are not over ordering!

We ordered the Stone Pot Mixed Vegetable Rice with beef and Kimchi Pork Belly. Both were delicious. The pot comes out piping hot and once you mix it all w their sauce that comes on the side it’s a perfect crisp to the rice and blend of spicy, vegetables marinated beef. The kimchi pork belly was very good although the flavor can be a lot for one dish so we recommend sharing or another small dish. The banchans (side dishes) that come out early and w every meal are tasty. We’ve never had the rice cake w spicy sauce before. Our favorites were the cucumbers, bean sprouts, rice cakes, kimchi and potato salad. I did miss the bean curds or tofu that we’ve had at our Irvine restaurants.

The only problem I have is that this restaurant opens in the evenings ever since Covid. I always ate there at lunch. I like eating lunch. Apparently, most people prefer dinner.
