We had the Walleye special with walnuts etc. It intrigued us as it sounded very out of the ordinary. As a result it was a surprise and very tasty. Great special and we would recommend it highly. Nice job. This was our very first time dining here. It will not be our last… If you’re looking for a great small family dining experience with white table cloth menu and good old middle class budgets, this is the place to go. This was some of the worst food I’ve ever had in the Illinois valley at a restaurant. My pasta looked like soup. The chicken was just huge chunks plopped in the pasta. Disgusting. My fiancés steak was frozen and his potato was not cooked. Waitress didn’t even ask how our meal was (probably because she knew it was horrible) we paid our $100+ bill..would have been better off going to Applebee’s. Not sure how this place has so many good reviews.
