The wife was looking for a place that served breakfast late (after 1130) and there wasn’t much in the area except for this place. The hostess sat us immediately and the waitress was right there to take our drink order (the entire staff was amazing). Everyone was very polite and made the experience even more enjoyable. The food was excellent – the wife even said the Belgian waffles were the best she has had. The biscuits and gravy were also amazing. Prices and atmosphere were typical of other diners. Overall, a great experience – so much so we went back the next day.

The presentation of the food, and the staff friendliness was wonderful, however the corned beef omelette I ordered was extremely bland and the “corned beef” inside was over-cooked resembling and tasting more like pulled pork (respectively) then of genuine corned beef hash. I was also surprised only white mozzarella cheese was used inside the omelette as opposed to a mixed or assorted cheese blend.

It’s probably the worst food I have had at a restaurant. I ordered the hot beef sandwich. The whole plate was drowned in gravy, which was so salty that it made everything inedible. The mashed potatoes were stale and dry despite being covered in the toxic gravy. Does the cook not taste the gravy? The garlic bread was dry and again way over salted. This review only applies to what I ordered, and it is impossible that the rest of the menu could be so bad. However, because of how bad the particular item was, I may not have the courage to try anything else off the menu. The ambiance and the service were decent, but alas, it couldn’t make up for the toxic food I was served.

If you’re passing through or local to the area you’ve got to check this place out! I had the breakfast burrito Jr. And it was more than I could eat. Portion sizes here are generous so come hungry leave full!

Huge shout out to Chef Tim! I ordered the special Eggs Benedict- eggs were made to order and PERFECT! The hollandaise sauce was the perfect consistency- nice and creamy with a fantastic flavor- definitely worth the drive.

Good place for brunch with the family. I’ve had several different dishes over my visits, and they’ve all been really well cooked and served hot. The sandwiches are a good pick, but the hash browns are to die for. Will definitely be returning in the near future.

I’ve probably eaten here a dozen times since I moved to Evergreen in June 2021. The food is always good. Prices are reasonable for the area. Tried most things on the menu and we’ve never been disappointed. The rotation of specials keeps it interesting. And I’ve never not been treated with anything but the utmost respect and politeness. Multiple wait staff check in on us through the meal, and greet us or wish us a good day on our way out. Usually the manager also stops by at least once. One time a server accidentally spilled a drink on my fiancé and they comped our whole meal even though we would have been happy to pay. The food always comes out in good time and exactly what we ordered. We keep coming back because it’s just a great local place. I highly recommend it.

This is just a small, mountain diner but such a great place. I have only been there for breakfast, but I’ve gone multiple times now. The service is outstanding. And if you are a healthy eater, you can definitely find suitable meals. For instance, the Conifer breakfast can be ordered with poached eggs, avocado, tomato slices, and dry toast. Or you could get a meal that’ll last you the entire day, like the quite large breakfast burrito. 100% recommended.
