This was a great find! The restaurant was spacious, cheerful and clean. We ordered the yellow rice, beans, oxtail, fried chicken and pork belly, all delicious. The oxtail and pork were both tender and juicy, and the beans were creamy and well seasoned. The portions were really generous, I will be coming back as often as I can

Amazing food! The owner is so sweet and really goes out of her way for her customers. Eat here and you will not leave hungry, that’s for sure. Super generous portion sizes. Will definitely be back when we are in town!

I’ve been looking for a good Dominican food place since the one on neilson and James closed & reopened as a Spanish food spot(NO ITS NOT THE SAME FOOD). & I’m thrilled to have finally found one thats just as good. Food is fantastic. Seasoned perfectly. Great portions for a good price. The meat is super tender. An all around win for sure. One of my new favorite spots, wish I would’ve tried them sooner.

First time eating here. The worker was super sweet and courteous she was super nice to my kids even tho they can be a bit on the excited side. I got the stew chicken yellow rice with peas and the beef steak stew and yellow rice . Very affordable and was even gifted a rice pudding ( which was amazing by the way) . I genuinely enjoyed the food I felt like at one of my family members house eating dinner . Definitely coming back

I stopped at this restaurant to grab dinner while driving across the state and it was incredible. It’s a very casual restaurant with SUPER authentic Dominican food and delicious flavors. I haven’t tasted food this well seasoned in a long time. The two women who helped us were so friendly and cook all the food fresh. It was such a nice surprise in the middle of Utica. Will come back again during my next road trip.

We ended up here by chance because the restaurant we were headed to was closed. It was such a fortunate chance! The food was incredible, and they were generous with it. I’m not sure if the portions are always this huge or if it was because it was close to closing, but our plates were heaped high and they offered more before we left.
