Flew into Missouri to visit family and La Lupita carniceria was suggested barbecuing Carne asada. We ended up going there twice. Employees were very courteous and welcoming along with knowledgeable. it’s our #1 spot for Carne asada barbecuing. Most importantly, the meat pricing was perfect.

I have been to La Lupita maybe five or six times over the past three years. I have never had a bad experience! All of the produce is priced fairly, their snacks are always fresh, the seasoned meat is something to pickup. I have never had anything bad from this spot. The food is fast, but made perfectly. Shoutout to the tamales, fish tacos, and breakfast selections. Everyone is super friendly and helpful. They don’t laugh at my mediocre Spanglish. Ice cream treats and ice cold beverages beat the Belton summer heat!

Authentic Mexican food. Best tacos in this area. Haven’t had anything I didn’t like here, and I eat here quite a bit.

Fabulous, authentic Mexican food. Several indoor tables. Authentic drinks are the best!! Fabulous carniceria and grocery. Surprisingly expensive, if you’re used to shopping in similar stores.

My new favorite place to get authentic tacos. Best chorizo taco I’ve ever had. But all of them are good.

I really think some of the food here is great. However, other items are hit or miss. The quesadillas are wonderful as is the breakfast. The tamales were great the first time, but the last time I ordered them they had a weird aftertaste that actually prevented me from eating them. As you can see from the photo, the guac and sour cream that comes with the food is so tiny that it’s not nearly enough for the mall. My first trip was a short order and all correct. The last time I order a lot of food and they forgot my burrito, which they did charge me for. I didn’t realize it because they wrap items together sometimes. Since there’s no itemized receipt, I couldn’t go back and navigate a language I don’t speak well enough to get my $7 burrito. So while I love supporting local businesses, this place is spotty enough that I will continue to frequent the Corner in Grandview instead.

I love this place! You can’t beat the value – the food is fresh and their burritos are huge. My husband loves the lengua and their asada is always perfect. Grab a Mexican coke or a horchata and don’t sleep on the tamales!
