First, let me say our waitress Melanie was fantastic. She was attentive, engaging, and happy (which can be a difficult find in the service industry now). However, my salad had a little too much dressing, and my friend’s pizza had toppings that could have been a little more evenly distributed. My husband ordered the crispy chicken ranch sandwich, and he did say it was served hot and very good. We decided to eat here before a 6:15 movie, and there was plenty of seating available. This restaurant is a nice space with pretty bar, and it is nice to have the option of taking a cocktail with you into your movie.

Pizza is pretty good. It’s thin and almost cracker like which I found to be pretty interesting. We did have a Cesar Salad which was good and really large and both my husband and I were able to eat from it. The hot honey hot wings were a 10 and absolutely delicious. On game days they have a $5 off any large pizza special. This particular Zaffrino’s is connected to North Shore Theater so is a great place to stop in to eat before going to watch a movie. Parking is in front and on the side. To go orders seem common as they have spaces outside for pickup and the atmosphere seems good. Our waitress was very attentive but I did notice that they have a very large sign asking for applicants and it definitely seems like a good place to work. One other thing I would like to add is that it is not loud in here. You can eat and have a conversation. Great place would definitely visit again if I was in the area.

Waited 15 minutes for a server to come to speak a single word to us — we might still be waiting if I hadn’t requested waters directly from the bar. We then waited another 30 minutes for drink after having been told the bar was “very busy.” The “very busy” bar is pictured here. Almost 50 minutes after we arrived, we received our food.

We ordered the sausage special – cheese, sausage and onion. We had literally 1 small piece of sausage on each slice, and enough onions for 3 pizzas. We were too hungry to return it so scraped off some of the onions. Ugh!

Excellent thin pizza, I ordered my pizza crisp and it was perfect. Also had pasta . The salad was good and had plenty of dressing. Atmosphere is really nice. Very busy but I was seated after about 10 minutes.

Not sure if it was just because the crust was super thin but there seemed to be too much sauce on the pizzas. Might have to try them with a different crust of we go again. The other food looked and smelled great. The staff was friendly and the atmosphere looked nice.

Really enjoy Zaffiros pizza. Thin cracker crust, zesty tomato Sauce, tasty pepperoni and sausage. Garlic bread soaked but not saturated in garlic butter. Mushroom ravioli included 3 ravioli in creamy Alfredo sauce. Bacon was in the sauce but it was undercooked. Mushroom filling plentiful and pasta cooked al dente. Presentation good have been better. A little fresh chopped parsley would have made a difference. Restaurant recently remodeled and update. center wall features tv. Bar features four TVs with additional monitors throughout. Easy for wheelchair accessibility. Attentive service. Upon our arrival, Table next to us had not yet been cleared and remained so even as we departed. Restaurant not busy or staff stressed. Cleanliness; details that I appreciate when dining. Overall good value, appreciate a fresh hot pizza whether or not attending a movie.

Our 3-top was seated at 6pm. We ordered 2 appetizers, a pizza to split, and daughter ordered chicken parm. Chicken parm came out at 6:10. No appetizers. Daughter finished her meal. Pizza came out wrong at 6:30 and we sent it back. First appetizer came out at 6:35 – Cheese bread. 2nd appetizer (bruscetta) came out at 6:40. Way different than I remember. We still have no utensils. See pic. of bruscetta “soup”. It was SALTY. Pizza arrived at 6:45.

This place has messed up my order in some big way all 3 of the times I’ve eaten here. One time, they gave my pizza to some other customer. I had to press a manager to figure out what was even going on with my order. This place seems to be operated by awful teenagers who couldn’t care less if they tried. When you call to place an order, your lucky if they even pick up. Most of the time it just rings and rings. When they do pick up, they just immediately put you on hold and throw the phone down so you can hear the teenage waiters yell profanities. Really great that this is attached to a theater, as if the movie theater business needed anymore challenges right now. Awesome restaurant, 150/10 stars. So good
