7:30 AM, It really takes forever to get service. The place is empty as it can possibly get, I’ve been here for 30 minutes waiting to put in my order, staff are just talking to each other. There’s actually someone waiting to be seated and on one is tending to him. It another 30 minutes to receive my bill. The guy is too busy talking to the cute girl in the kitchen, does not pay attention to his job

I’ll never forget those pancake puppies… most delicious meal they have!! I treated out my homie and his wife to them – and they were speechless over the taste. It was THAT GOOD! I wish they had them always and not just seasonal.

The location of the Denny’s near Union Station is great. It is very close to the Union Station, which makes it convenient for people who are commuting. The service was promptly and I got checked several times to ensure my need was satisfied. The burgers were tasty and the plate was kept hot. The sauces were spread evenly. The chips were okay. They were not as crisp as the ones you get from In-N-Out, but they were still decent. The chicken was not as tender as I would have liked it to be, and the buffalo sauce was too salty for me. I wouldn’t recommend that boneless chicken dish. Overall, it is a decent restaurant that is worth four stars. If the owner wants to further improve the ratings, the focus would be to recommend the best dishes they have based on the preferences from the customers.

I was here in the downtown LA visiting this establishment very dated management what appears to be nice nasty. also there was a storm and there was leaks throughout the restaurants from previous water damage that they neglect to take care of. I have visited Denny’s restaurant in the past I’m not a big fan of them this is why I probably haven’t frequently these chains as often. From the upholstery go to the bathrooms they all need Tender Love and cares everyone is working for a paycheck but no one is working with passion.

Arrived after midnight. It feels a bit sketchy when you walk in: had the Michael Jackson impersonator, and a few transient-homeless just hanging out. The security guard wasn’t very useful even though he was standing right around the front area upon arrival. We were seated pretty quickly and the polite server came to take our order quickly but they couldn’t serve the two dishes I was prepared to order and my buddy placed his order while I sought an alternative. It became clear there was only one server working the entire restaurant and the guy really remained on top of all his tables. Surprisingly, my food came out at the same time as my buddy’s who ordered before me and the food was fresh, as you’d expect from Dennys. We were a bit amused by the guy who sat behind us who asked three times to pay his tab, and each time the server told him he can do that at the register. Finally the guy understood and the server continued to remain polite and efficient. Talk about remaining calm and professional. We were really impressed by his excellent service. Wish we caught his name. There was at least one other person there wearing the same shirt as the server, assuming he had the same position but didn’t do much the whole time we were there. Maybe he was on lunch? Either way, I bet these guys aren’t earning what they are worth. Hats off to our server and the cooks. The security guard should speak English and be much more involved with being sure the restroom isn’t being used by random people (homeless) who I seen come in filthy and walk right into the restrooms.

I hit my head in one of the lamps that is way too low. I told the waiter Miguel D. About it and his response was that “it happened oh well” what type of response is that?! He is rude and unprofessional. Then I gave a suggestion on how it can be safer and he didn’t care at all.
