We heard this was a good place so we thought we’d give it a try. We always look to support small, local businesses over chains. We were very displeased with the lack of cleanliness, quality of food, and attitude of our server. Bathrooms are a pretty big indicator of the cleanliness of a business and not only was the women’s rest room dirty, it was unsafe with sharp protruding metal. Both of our burgers were coated in carbon, and our fried pickles were so greasy we had to dump them out of the basket to drain on napkins. We also ordered onion rings, we personally did not like them as they were extremely heavily breaded, but others might like them…just not for us. The sweet tea was very good. We spent way too much money for a burger joint, we will not return or recommend this establishment.

My wife and I visited on a Friday evening. The burgers were delicious and the fried green tomato with pimento cheese appetizer was really good. However, there was a 74 minute gap between receiving our appetizer and receiving our meal. The dining room was less than half full but meals were taking more than an hour to hit the table. I observed one table of eight get up and leave after waiting for over an hour. Their waiter actually asked them to pay for the soft drinks they were served which the customer rightfully refused to do. My wife and I had no other plans so we waited out the meal because I wanted to at least taste the burgers. Overall, I think this restaurant has a great food product and is worth the asked price but there is a problem with either the food preparation or service process. Since this was a one-off visit, I may have simply visited on a bad night where they were short staffed which understandably happens from time to time. I will visit again and see if the food prep time and service issues are fixed. Based solely on the food, this place is a 4.5-5 star burger joint. If they can fix the wait time issues, it should have some staying power.

Checked this place out tonight. Atmosphere was nice, clean and spacious. Food was delicious, reasonably priced and served in a very timely manner. Service was amazing. Had potato skins stuffed with jalapeno bacon pimento cheese and sriracha sauce/ranch mixture to dip then in that I am wishing I had more of right now. Burger also had a jalapeno-pimento cheese spread over it and garden fresh jalapenos on the side. Wife had a fried bologna sandwich with a chow chow spread that had me craving a bologna sandwich(not a choice sandwich meat for me). Will definitely go again. Next time will definitely try the spicy fried green beans.

We are not from here and found the restaurant online. Lots of family in town for a wedding. Our server was Veronica and she was over the top phenomenal! Our large group moved our table because the live music (which was great) was loud at our first table. Veronica handled the move like a champ! She was patient and professional. The place was fun and the food and drinks were great. Veronica provided fabulous service and was fun to work with. Definitely recommend this as a fabulous local business to visit!

Good, hot food, good service, clean restaurant! Try the sweet potato tater tots! The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars…they have a wall of liquor but no mixed drink menu/unique drinks. If you’re only looking at food, it would be 5 stars. I would go back again.

High quality burger – sit-down restaurant prices so not a “light lunch” place necessarily and music was a little loud – but it’s a bar I guess. The sandwich itself was huge could not have tasted better. Nice waitress too.

The burgers were cooked to a perfect medium. Delicious and flavorful with a hint of smokey flavor that I love. The jalapeno pimento cheese that came on the burger was creamy and just a touch spicy. The fries came out hot and fresh, hand cut fries that are wonderful with a cheese burger. Their whiskey selection is vast, so anyone who wants a good whiskey drink or shot to go along with their night will be in luck finding just the right whiskey.
