Good Detroit -style pizza. My son loved it!! ……but I feel it should have more toppings on it for the price. (Minimum pepperoni for a $20 pizza). Great service and when she said it was 20 minutes for the pizza – it was 20 minutes. Very friendly and professional staff. Wish there were a few tables and chairs to sit down at to enjoy as we were traveling, but the space is so small there is no way it could fit.

Update 7-23: Swung in again to give them another chance as I was feeling a salad today. The service was friendly and fast. But when I got home again was disappointed. The salad while having plenty of meat had no cheese and only 4 grape tomatoes for a pretty big salad. Will I eat it yes. Will I return probably not. Especially with the rewards program. You need to spend $200 for a $10 reward.

The best pizza I’ve had in a while! Very good flavors and delicious crust. The pasta and soup were okay, not the best sauce in the world and could have been prepared properly. The minestrone was too thick and the pasta meat sauce had a metallic aftertaste. Overall the restaurant is affordable and seem to offer good deals. I highly recommend the meat deluxe.

It’s take out only, which is fine for a pizza place. Our pizza and breadsticks were both burnt on the edges and we were not impressed by the food. Plenty of other superior pizza places in the area that I would recommend first. Food was ready on time as promised though and online ordering was easy.

The pizza smelled great, but it was greasy, bread sticks weren’t good… Like little Caesars bread but not as equal. Cheese on pizza was great tasting but I don’t think it’s the same that it once was. Probably won’t go back.

I made the mistake of not fully submitting an online order, but walked in the store fully assuming I placed it. After scaring the team by making them think they missed an order, which I feel terrible about, we realized what had happened. Even though this was totally my error, the manager had me place my order, and had them make it right away so I didn’t have to wait too long. This excellent service did not go unnoticed because they did not have to do that at all. I arrived home shortly after with delicious, hot pizza that my family and I absolutely loved. I will definitely be back soon. Thank you!

Delicious pizza! We showed up shortly after our pick-up time and they said one of the pizzas was stuck to the pan and needed to remake the pizza. We did not have time to wait for another pizza but they gave us the rest of our order at no charge and also a coupon for a future visit. I know there are problems beyond their control and they did an excellent job to make the best of the situation!

Hopefully the owners or management reads this review! We arrived right at closing to pick our pizza order up and realized when we went to pick it up that we had called the other location on 28th Street in Grand Rapids and because it was closing time there was no way that we could get our order. Even though they were officially closed Matthew took our order and made sure we were able to get our pizza and breadsticks! It is so hard to find good help these days and he is a shining example of what customer service is and should be! Thank you Matthew for making our experience awesome and we will definitely be a returning customer!

Buddy’s pizza Alpine is not the 28th St. or 6 mile Detroit pizza. Alpine wasn’t that good a few months ago the first time but figured maybe they had to work the bugs out being a new location. Finally tried Alpine buddy’s again last night and it’s just average at best, closer to a frozen pizza than fresh. This is unfortunate because this location was going to be perfect for us.
