The place is decent, the waiter was nice. I had steak fajitas which was good in flavor overall but the meat was not tender it was thin strips but chewy. My main reason for a 3 star is because there was a employee lady sitting next to me on her break talking with someone on the phone on camera and loud speaker. This was annoying as I went to disconnect and relax and she was extremely loud and the conversation took about 20 or 30 minutes. I and other guest gave indication by glancing over and hoping she would realize she was being to loud but that didn’t work.

My favorite place for Mexican food. Pricing is reasonable and the food comes out hot and fresh. These pictures with the review show a full order of Texas Fajita Nachos. This kept me full for the rest of the day.

Went for lunch and it was delicious! Salsa has more spice to it than other restaurants! I had the BBQ nachos and they were good. I just wish there were less black beans. My fiance had Agave meal, it came with less rice than expected but tons of meat. We had a party of 8 and were all satisfied with our food. For picky kiddos, they have chicken tenders and fries.

I gave this place a chance after hearing a long time ago they had a roach infestation. I have been a few times and no problems. Went last night and the food that we ordered had to be sent back while waiting for it to come back my husband felt something crawl on his leg and shined his phone flashlight under table to discover a roach. I’m sorry I understand that restaurants are prone to bugs but as a restaurant owner it’s your responsibility to make sure you keep it under control. That is just disgusting and we will not return and as I hate to leave this review I can’t not warn others. We left immediately. And there seemed to be no concern at all like it probably happens often.

They have good Mexican style food. Visited there after a family members doctors appointment. We were greeted at the door and seated promptly. They bring a nice mild but spicy salsas and chips for an appetizer. They have a wide range of Mexican style foods to choose from.

Served my daughter raw chicken. Acted like that didn’t mean anything. Wife’s lettuce had brown spots on it. Gave the kids giant 32oz foam cups for their drinks. Was impossible for them to drink from them themselves without help. Other food was ok. Nothing better or worse than any other Mexican place in the area. Salsa had a lot of heat which didn’t go away. Had they even apologized for the raw chicken, it wouldn’t have been so awful, but they acted like it didn’t matter. Guess that means it doesn’t matter if we ever come back there either.

The Salsa for the chips is just delicious! Maribel was our server today, she is great and attentive, she told us that they make their own salsa, with natural ingredients, that’s why is so tasty, not too spicy. The food was out quickly, and everything was really good, we are coming back soon for more chips and salsa!

Good “Mexican/Tex-Mex” food. Service is good and the food is always hot. Service can get a little slow during busy hours.

Tonight was another night that I tried to order food from this location. I called 7 times and kept getting a voicemail recording. This is not the 1st time this has happened. There was a time that I had to go to the restaurant to place a TO GO order because the phones went straight to a recording. You want business, but you do not answer your phones? Took my business to location in flowery branch. Yes it is a further drive but will do so as long as someone answers the phone!

I have been visiting “El Som” since 1994. They recently renovated the entire inside, to include new booths and a full bar to sit at. If you were there before, I encourage you to come back and see what they have done with the place! The food is always fresh, the beer is always cold, and the margaritas are strong. Portions and heavy hands are what you can expect when you come to get some authentic Mexican food. Texas fajita nachos is a recommended dish, one of my favorites if you like chicken, steak, and shrimp. The staff is quick, and food comes out without an extended wait.
