Had an excellent Mountain Man pizza! We were in Lansing for the Renaissance Festival and happened to pass through the night before and I’m so glad we got dinner from Pie On The Mountain. They were only open for take out but the food was made in under 15 minutes and was absolutely delicious. Staff was very friendly. Definitely a shining star in this small town!

My Chicken Bacon Ranch was so yummy! Though you cannot eat inside, I went and sat on the patio that they share with the General Store (grabbed a peach tea there) and listened to the band. Though it took about 35 minutes, they were very busy and the time was reasonable…I just took a peaceful walk at the park across the street. I definitely recommend this place!

This pizza is possibly some of the best pizza I have ever had. Thinner crust, the fire house pizza has enough spiciness to be delicious without being overbearing. The kids each got an 8″ pepperoni pizza which was a littler than what they wanted (not enough for a 10yo, still good for the 7yo) but for the price they could have easily gotten a second one. I’d highly recommend stopping in. Have a drink on the market patio next door and enjoy.

We ordered an 18 inch pie and it seemed like they took a 14″ and stretched it out. There was even a hole in it. No cheese on it that we could see or taste. Not going there again. No tables, carry out only.

First timers and we ordered the Firehouse Pizza with a Caesar Salad. The pizza was definitely spicy but the flavors together made it so yummy and savory. The Caesar dressing is the best I’ve ever had. I believe it is a special homemade recipe. We will be back!! Lansing Rocks!

Matt did a large order for me and we tasted all the specialty pies. People will be talking about his pizza for months to come. I don’t know that I have ever had pizza that good! His staff worked hard and everything was delicious, fresh, locally and uniquely flavored. I can’t go back to Lansing just for pizza, but if I could, I would. Make sure you get a taste. It’s awesome!

Super delicious. We really liked this pizza. Thin crust and intriguing taste that was very yummy. We Got the Chicken Dinner pizza. The salads were also tasty. Service was prompt, friendly and courteous.

This place has the best pizza! It’s always amazing. We make it a point to stop here on our way through the area. The staff is very friendly, and constantly busy. They work their tails off. Only con is that due to short staffing it is take out only and during prime time you could be waiting 2 hours for pizza. You’ll want to call ahead as many others do.

A bit off the beaten path, but the pizza was delicious. We asked for crispy crust, and they made sure that it was. We had the white pie. Another patron said the calzone was terrific. No place to dine in, but there are a few tables outside. It was a nice day, and there was some nice local entertainment. Will def be going back.

Great pizza. However options limited and there may be quite a wait on your pie. No gluten free crust option and the staff is slightly void of personality. Bear with them; it is Ashe county and the overall choices of the county are quite limited. I love to grab a pie that I’ve ordered an hour ahead and go up to Molly chomper cidery and chow it down with a superb cider in a superb atmosphere.
