Definitely not the best tacos or Mexican food in town. Knowing how Idaho likes cheese in their Mexican food, I specifically asked NOT to add cheese in a burrito de asada. Got cheese, lettuce and jalapeños on my burrito as a bonus. I thought I ordered a burrito and not a wrap. Rice and meat also did not have flavor. Definitely not trying it again.

I go to restraunts for the sole purpose to get the best breakfast burrito. And finally I have found it here at this modest food truck. Lorenas mexican food. I have been to many restraunts across the country, in search of my perfect breakfast burrito. And just as I had thought that the boise area and surrounding cities was a complete loss of hope. I stumbled across lorenas food truck. But her talents are not just limited to breakfast I have tried a couple of her authentic Mexican food items and have found her passion for food shows in her work. And is unsurpassed in her culinary art. As a foodie and a food truck owner opporator myself. I must admit defeat finally and concede to her superior talents. As my breakfast burritos are now just a shadow basking in her glory. Thank you so much for your exceptional food and customer service. I will be back, to fuel my new addiction to lorenas. And have already made this new find a regular stop before assuming my daily activities. Nothing better than someone that cares about their services and assembles all of their food from scratch. As someone who grew up in a Mexican household and had food like this on a daily basis, I think doña Lorena and her team know what they’re doing! The tacos and quesadillas were really tasty and reminded me of my mothers home cooking. I highly recommend this place and will definitely be coming back soon.

This is hands-down the best Mexican food in the Boise area! I came here earlier today, and just had to sit down and write a review. The food is great, the sit down area is shaded and clean, and the people are are incredibly kind and give great service. If you want good tacos, I highly recommend trying Lorena’s!

I was looking for some street tacos, one afternoon, and this place had pretty good reviews. Pretty authentic tacos, tried one of each meat, and they were quite delicious. The red and green sauces that they provide are quite tasty as well. Pretty quick in and out so if you’re looking for some quick street tacos, I highly recommend this place.

I’ve come here two days in a row now, and both times I have gotten the best service along with some great Mexican food. I had 4 tacos with lengua the first day and the enchiladas with red sauce the next day. The lady at the counter is not only a great chef, but one of the nicest food service workers I have met. I’ve been here for 4 years, and wasted a lot of money since then looking for my idea of perfect. Well, friends, here it is.
