I went to Louie’s for lunch today b/c I was craving tacos. I decided to try the birria tacos and they were pretty good! They included fresh cilantro and onions, and savory beef and cheese on the inside. I had rice and refried beans which are included in the lunch combo. The rice was fluffy and tasty, but the refried beans didn’t really have much flavor. I would definitely visit this restaurant again though. There are a lot of delicious options to choose from on the menu!

Today, I discovered something truly special. The Birria Tacos I ordered through Doordash were simply incredible. Each bite was packed with the perfect amount of flavor, not too overpowering. I think it’s safe to say that these are the best tacos I’ve ever had. If anyone disagrees, they may need to give them another try.

I would never recommend anyone eat here. I thought I was ordering a birria taco, but what I got was a unseasoned, dry as the desert taco that has no juice in the meat or anything. They wanted to charge me $2 for sauce when the birria taco should of already had sauce on it! Bad experience and I will never eat there again! Straight Garbage

This place was calling my name “Louie”. Stopped in for a bite to eat and had a flash back straight out of Cali (Califas). Reminded me of back home. It felt like I stopped by Chicano Park and into Barrio Logan. The food is simple and delicious comfort food with cold beer and a variety of margarita machines for your pleasure. This will definitely be a regular stop whenever I’m in the area.

Great taco shop with a full bar. I got the two taco combo that comes with a drink, rice and beans. The rice and beans were so tasty. The tacos were a good size and there’s many homemade hot sauces to choose. I tried them all and they were delicious!

The food is very good especially the birria tacos and quesadilla the service could use some work though. I placed a to go order and half of it was missing. Luckily something told me to check the bag in the parking lot before I drove all the way home. I did get the rest of my food but the confusion of figuring out what was where and making sure I got everything just left me with a bad taste. I will give them another chance I just hope next time my entire order is ready all at once and correct.

This was awesome!. We got ours to go. I got the chorizo taco and the Iberia taco. I was STUFFED. My Husband got the steak, Iberia, and carnita tacos and liked them all but the Iberia was the favorite. We love the decor and can’t wait to go back and sit there and enjoy!!

While the food and salsas are great and we love the HH specials at the bar, the bartenders are super slow and have repeadidly ignored us for 15 plus minutes. I’m hoping management will see this and talk to them about their service so we will continue to go there. Otherwise, there are several other options.
