I’ve been to 10+ Famous Dave’s locations across the country, and I have not been let down yet! This is the 1st location in LA so I had to visit as I’m from Cincinnati and would frequent the Erlanger, KY location. It closed a yr ago due to the pandemic so since I was in the area I placed a ToGo order. The food was better than any Famous Dave’s north of the Mason Dixson line. My order was correct, fresh, hot, and the portions were generous for the price. The only issue I had is that Famous Dave’s is not its own stand alone location but shares a restaurant with a Country Italian restaurant w/absolute no indication that its there. We had to call and ask where they were located because google, nor the website specifies this. I also didn’t care for the fact that you have to go into the Country Italian Restaurant to get your Famous Dave’s order but there is only seating for their patrons and not Dave’s so I took a Star away. As a note I’d be more than willing to pay a cover to have a seated meal. FD is worth it, and as a traveler sometimes you just want to get out the car and have a seated meal along your route. Just food for thought. Overall a great experience!

I have never felt like more of a burden at a restaurant before. There was just problem after problem. Waited 50 minutes total. So many food items were out of stock, and I was told about a half hour AFTER placing my order that the corn bread was out of stock. They also said they cannot make a rare burger, only medium rare (again AFTER we ordered it) On top of it all, they even forgot one of my items. I also think it’s ridiculous that we were not allowed to dine inside, despite there only being about 2 filled tables for the Italian place. One of the worst experiences I’ve ever had at a restaurant. I didn’t get any of the items I originally wanted. The food I had to order instead wasn’t even good, and as I said before I didn’t even receive everything I ordered. Waste of my time. I forgot to mention the absolute idiocy of having the “restaurant” (which in reality is just a small booth) located inside an Italian place with zero indication from the outside that Famous Dave’s was even in there to begin with.

I should have read the reviews before trying this place. One Uber driver has already canceled and an hour and a half later the second Uber driver still hasn’t been able to pick up my meal. 2:30 on a Saturday they can’t be busy. I’ll never try them again.

This place is a joke I placed an order with uber and the latest arrival time was 7:20 and now it is 8:00 . I’m going to wait it out and hope the poor service doesn’t mean my order will be missing any items. I will contact customer service on the corporate site if possible.
