Food never disappoints. I feel like I escape from reality when I enter this simple “joint”. It’s a truly great place to gather with friends and dig into a fierce burger. Nothing boogie just kind customers, dimly lit dining area, cold drinks and an awesome burger. It is one of our favorites!!

Depending on your reason for going, this place can be rated anywhere from 2.5 stars to 4. Bare bones, no frills old tavern. Have to walk up to bar to order food or drinks if you’re at table. Food is brought out to you though. Good basic burger, and good sized. Decent fries too. Can’t speak as to the other menu items, but I’d expect that they are along the same lines. But definitely not much atmosphere if you’re not a regular customer. And no kids wanted there, which was not a problem for me.

We don’t live near here. Full time RV’rs. Came through here 2 years ago. The burgers are still exceptional and the service is outstanding. Nickie is one of the best bartenders EVER! Great attention to patrons and personality. Jack was the cook and did a great job. Very Very satisfied on our return trip!!

I watched the man cooking the burgers, take a spatula and squash the burgers after they were cooking for 10 minutes. This explains my big dry burger that was also in no way close to medium rare.

Great food reasonable prices and awesome atmosphere!! Gets crowded fast! Old school vibe I love! Need to have cash to pay and need to go to them bar to order your food as well as drinks! Food is always cooked perfect!! Love coming here after a long day at work!! Don’t be surprised if you have to wait in line to get refill on drinks depending on who’s at the bar
