What can I say about the Haystack Cafe in the Tiny Town of Higgins, TX? All the food is homemade and prepared to order. Great Handicapped ♿ access for someone like myself and that’s hard to find in a large city much less this whistle stop just minutes from Oklahoma. Had heard good things from some guys who work for me. I wasn’t disappointed. Great hamburger steak with grilled onions and gravy, awesome homemade fries, salad bar and iced tea. All delicious. Staff is attentive and friendly. Good home style cooking. Can’t wait to try steak night and breakfast night !

Kevin and I work at A&A auto Glass the other night we were working late didn’t realize it was 830 but we called and she was so nice that she told us when we hit Canadian at 9 o’clock call her and she’ll run down and cook us a burgers we want to cheeseburgers with tater tots and a piece of pie the food was delicious and the service was great

My wife and I were down here visiting from Colorado and drove 50 miles trying to find a restaurant open on Easter. We had a great Easter buffet meal, fantastic and very friendly service…the owner and her entire family worked here today. Thank you for allowing us to share Easter with you and your family, you were the best….we highly recommend this restaurant.
