It is difficult for me to write a 2 star review. However this is my experience last night and I am giving two stars solely because the food was decent. I was excited to try this place because of the other 5 star reviews and the hype on social media. After walking in, we weren’t greeted for about 10 minutes. There weren’t many tables filled, but everyone working ignored us. One finally came over and stated she didn’t see my reservation. Then she crossed off someone else’s name and continued to seat us.

What a gem! Everything was amazing from the service to the balsamic vinegar for the bread (had to buy a bottle to bring home), to the Cesar salad to our entrees to the wine to the ricotta cheesecake!!! The owner came over and greeted us and gave us a little history. Loved the attention and personal touch. We will definitely be back!

Some of the best Italian food I’ve eaten in the Valley. Waitress was extremely kind and explained dishes that were new to us if we didn’t know them. Service was great, portions were a good size, and everything tasted fresh and authentic. Definitely recommend if you enjoy Italian food!

We had dinner here on the 8th of July. The wine (Sangiovese) arrived extremley cold. My guess it had been stored in a refrigerator overnight and left there all day. I had to wait for it to warm up before I could enjoy it. The next glass ( a different wine) arrived in much better condition.

I want new places to succeed, but I don’t think they earned more than two stars. I can’t imagine what we missed that they received so many 5 star reviews. Food was very expensive, and nothing special. Over $100 for 4 meals, and 4 tiny crusts of dry bread. Portions were very small. I had Fusilloni Alla Salsiccia e Talleggio, which was about half to 3/4 of a cup of curly pasta (from a box it seemed like) with about 3 or 4 tablespoons of sauce that was just okay. That was it for $24 – nothing else included. Maybe they will get better, but I wouldn’t recommend this since there are other very good restaurants in SCV. We won’t be going there again, sadly.

Very disappointed. My family and I wanted to try this Restaurant for the 1st time but unfortunately after waiting 10 minutes at the door to be greeted even with a reservation, the chef..the servers kept just walking by us…without a word like we were invisible. My take is that they didn’t have enough staff.

I wouldn’t even bother trying to go here. We came here for my birthday based on all the positive reviews and left extremely disappointed. Service was non existent, menu was confusing. The signs around the restaurant basically yelling at people not to order certain things are off putting. There are many other places in SCV that are worth your time.
