We’ve been wanting to try this place for some time now. We went for dinner and were a party of 6. The atmosphere is very busy and inviting though it is a bit too loud there when it’s packed – we found ourselves having the shout most of the time. Everyone enjoyed their food! We got the truffle fries as appetizers and they were delicious! Not greasy at all! We each got a drink and mine was the non-alcoholic daiquiri which I really enjoyed and would order again. My husband got the bacon cheeseburger and he loved it! I got the capital burger but I think I’d rather try something else next time. The burger was good but it lacked condiments which made it a bit less appetizing. All that cheese and meat needs a bit of acidity to cut through it. The patty itself though was good! It tasted like it’s good quality meat. Would definitely go back there again especially on a busy weekend evening! Maybe not the best place for a date but definitely perfect for a group of friends.

Visiting the City for work, so had to try a local burger and this place looked the business as I walked past it so decided to give it a go. Great welcome at the door, sat at the bar as I was alone and received great service from the bar staff and had the bacon cheese burger and chips… Fantastic burger and chips and was just the right amount for my Scottish diet and was amazed that there was no ‘Burger Slippage’ in the bun as I ate my way through it… as in, the burger stayed central in the bun the whole time, so my fingers were not covered on sauces or cheese… Tasted fantastic too, so no complaints at all. Certainly recommend it if you want a good old fashioned tasty burger and I will certainly go back.

The Capital Burger was juicy. The Hot Bavarian Pretzel complemented with the cheese fondue was a delightful blend of savory and creamy goodness. The Lobster Bisque was excellent.

Discovered The Capital Burger in DC and was thrilled to find it in Boston. Ordered their signature burger and it was as delectable as I remembered. Consistent ambiance and top-notch service. A must-try for anyone in Boston seeking a gourmet burger experience.

The best burger I’ve ever had. Period. I genuinely believe myself to be a connoisseur of burgers as every city I go to I try the best rated spot. This place was one of those top rated places, but was the best of them all. I got the caption burger which is the croup favourite on the menu. But there are other options. The homemade pickles that they bring you before your food is also a nice touch.

Amazing burgers! I split the capital burger and the bleu cheese and truffle burger. Both were really excellent and had a lot of flavor. Fries were well salted and the bread and butter pickles (house made) were also good. Not sure I could pick a favorite because they were too different, but taste ways, definitely a 5/5 for both. Our waitress, Chloe, checked in on us to see if we needed anything and refilled our waters when they were low. Friendly and caring service!

Been to capital grille before for steaks but never been to a capital burger I assume they are affiliated as they look the same inside. We stumbled in during the Boston marathon and it was pretty busy but the servers and bar tenders did a great job getting to everyone and creating a fun environment. The food was good, especially the deviled eggs and bacon. Burger was solid, not the best ever but worth he money. Drinks were tasty, good job on the espresso martini. I would definitely go back.

A solid choice for burgers. The vegetarian burger included a housemade patty and was good. The salad was ok. Nice outside area. The service was very quick and friendly.

My roommate and I had a shopping day on Newbury and we were starving when we got there. We saw Capital Burger and decided to give it a try. It was a sunny hot day so we sat outside, got a pint, and chicken sandwiches. The food was tasty, filling and service was decent. I’d definitely recommend this place for a good bite with fair prices.
