Went a couple weeks ago. Lady who helped us was really nice and helpful. Thought they did a great job keeping people safe and clean. Ramen tasted really good and the portion size was large. Sushi was good too but probably would go for ramen only next time.

First off, probably some of the best gyoza I have ever had. Just absolutely scrumptious. Like I ordered from here for the ramen, but the gyoza… I don’t know if I could ever not order them with whatever else I am getting they are so good.

Muto is one of the best Ramen places in Bellingham. They offer a great selection of Ramen’s and Sushi. They have great ingredient’s and are perfecting their dishes more each time! A great local spot to check out if you are into authentic Japanese cuisine!

This place is wonderful 🙂 The dishes that I’ve tried have all been pretty authentic. When I was coming to Bellingham from London, I suspected that there wouldn’t be many authentic Asian restaurants. There are one or two Indian restaurants that are pretty good, but both the east and southeast Asian food scene here is pretty bad. Muto is definitely an exception. The owner is a lovely Japanese lady and most of the dishes are made with the right kind of ingredients, seasoning, and cooking methods.

Food was pretty good. I got the tonkotsu ramen with spicy broth and an extra egg, which was tasty. My only critique is that the noodles were a little too hard for me, but soft noodles are my preference. I got the green tea tempera ice cream for dessert, which was good, but way too big. I think 3-4 people can share that thing! The server was really nice and order came out at a reasonable time (10-15mins).

Great Japanese spot! Went for lunch and was really impressed by their lunch combo menu, and their standard menu. I would have gone with some of the sushi specials, but then I saw they had chicken and pork katsu curry and I couldn’t avoid it! The curry was just like I’ve had in Japan, and was the perfect balance of flavors and spice. My wife got the shoyu ramen, which was also on point. I can’t wait to go back and try more of the menu, especially the specialty sushi rolls!

Found this Japanese restaurant on the way southbound to Seattle. This place was already packed by 5:30pm on Saturday. The menu covers ramen, rice bowl, yakisoba and sushi. Ramen has good broth and noodle, but only one piece of pork and bamboo shoot. Hot tea cost extra. Recommend Whole squid.

Food is great, prices are solid. I am writing this review after my second visit to the restaraunt. I’ve tried a rice bowl (Pork) and spicy rice bowl (chicken.) Person I ate with has had curry (chicken) and ramen (beef.) My first visit, my partner’s ramen was lackluster, while my rice bowl was great. Second visit’s potstickers and both curry and bowl were very good. Wait was somewhat long on a saturday evening, but service was prompt and prices are very good. I would rate cost at 2 of 5 $, while quality I would rate firmly at 4.7/5, rounded up. Heartily recommended, maybe call in advance on weekends.
