I love going and picking up lunch here! The food is always great and filling with great portions. They are always friendly and conversational when I order and ask me about my day. Great guy to talk to. My favorite quick and yummy lunch spot! The big wave is my go to with edamame instead of broccoli.

The food was yummy, no questions there. But the cleanliness of the place is absolutely awful. Tables, floors, water dispenser, the trays that cover seafood all dirty. The person serving the food was handling it without gloves and basic sanitary. It’s so sad, but I just don’t feel comfortable consuming raw seafood in this environment.

Do yourself a favor and give this place a shot. It may not look like much, but it’s authentic and the portions are generous. The service is fantastic. I can’t wait to go back, and I hope that it becomes successful enough to eventually get a location with a patio. Skip Bahama Breeze… Go Ono Poke instead!

This place is been open for 7 years and I’m just now finding it. No way. Pacific islander food is hard t o find around here. Unless your cooking it. So it’s good to find a little of home around the area. And to find out that there is a few Islanders in the area. Omg.

The best poke I’ve had in Memphis or Nashville, hands down. The tuna was extremely fresh and seasoned well. Healthy portion of protein for the price of the bowl. The bao bun was excellent, and at 2.99 a piece, you could make a meal out of 2-3 of those alone. The selection of local craft beer was a nice added touch. I will certainly be back.

I literally get a signature poke bowl once a week. I absolutely love coming here. The service is impeccable, and the flavor combinations are absolutely divine. I never knew how much I’d like raw tuna, and now, I couldn’t possibly go without it. My fave is the Spicy Pele with brown rice.

My experience was okay. The ingredients seemed fresh. The man working there was nice enough, but did not seem to have much training. He gave me the impression that the only meats were uncooked fish (seafood allergy here) so I ordered the vegetarian option with tofu. Then after I got further along the line, I saw vats with pork and beef, which I would have preferred. But perhaps that was just a misunderstanding, and the tofu wasn’t bad. Generous serving size, which was a plus! And the guy was kind enough to allow me to try a sample of the sauce that was used before he added it to my dish. The sauce was a lemony variety of soy sauce and very good. The main concern I have is that when my friend ordered shrimp, he dropped a piece into the container with the edamame beans, then just kind of casually scooped it out. Luckily my allergy is not super sensitive. Overall it was not a bad experience.
