We stopped here for a drink after a few hours of retail therapy. Sat at the oyster bar and talked to the chef. Drinks were pretty good and the deviled eggs were amazing (sounds weird but try them!). We’ll come back and try out tye oysters, burgers and pizza. Fun place. Definitely local.

The crawfish bread, mahi sandwich & sweet potato fries were outstanding! So tasty and priced very reasonable! Staff and service was off the top, above and beyond! Nice to eat somewhere that they actually CARE if you enjoy the food! Highly recommend!

It’s Monday evening, and I’m sitting at the bar enjoying Roasted Cauliflower and a cocktail at Funky Mermaid. It is delicious. It’s one of my favorite ‘go lightly’ dishes. I enjoyed their Filet and Lobster special last Friday night. It, too, was delicious. The steak and lobster were both perfectly seasoned and cooked. The meal came with smashed potatoes and salad. It was Well Worth the price of $27.95. Come say hello to Shari and Luke. You will be treated like family as you enjoy your choice of their tasty offerings. My family and I dined here after venturing away from the restaurants on the beach, which were super crowded. I had fried grouper, which was delicious. One of my daughters had a burger, which was good, and my other daughter ordered pizza, which was not good at all. The server was courteous and attentive. It was nice to see where the locals hang out on a Friday night. Small but nice atmosphere.
