I would give it a 5 stars if the service is faster. I’m not sure if they are understaff or not, but they service was really slow. Our waitress was really nice but only visited our table a few times. The crab cake is really good, it doesn’t smell fishy and the portion is generous. I also tried their lobster tail and the quality is good and cooked perfectly.

Mitchell’s Steakhouse serves delectable steaks and sides, and their cocktails and wine list are second to none. It was our first visit, and we will definitely be back! The service was amazing, and the atmosphere is lovely. (Of note: This is NOT a Cameron Mitchell restaurant. The couple behind us tried to use a gift card and were unable to.)

This is my favorite Mitchell’s location. It’s a little less formal. I’m usually dressed to go shopping not for a special occasion when we eat here and we have always been treated like royalty. Love the Prime meatball appetizer we order 2 for 4 people. You never wait on drinks or refills and the service is always top notch. The Creme Brulee is amazing.

We had an amazing experience at Mitchell’s Steakhouse tonight tried the fillet Oscar and the cold water lobster tail and loved them. The best part was our server Cody he was very kind and very helpful. I would highly recommend asking for him anytime you go.

I had Mitchell’s chopped salad with shrimp (good), 10oz Filet Mignon Medium well (it was not cooked right, not juicy & cooled), Baked Potato with but butter/sour cream (it was cooled). I told the waiter this & he did not respond. I ask my waiter for my bill, it amounted to $140.83 VISA

I celebrated my birthday here. Food was great. They gave me a bottle of champagne on the house. The spicy lobster is always a win. The atmosphere is quiet. Our server was patient enough. We were the last people to leave the restaurant.

I was unfortunately less than impressed. I was by myself, the restaurant was at about 40% capacity, I felt it took a bit of time for each service interaction from ordering, to food, to payment. My expectations may be off since I have never been there but being by myself I wasn’t having small talk with anyone…. I was asked first up if I wanted bread, I said yes, the server eventually came back for something and said he would check on the bread…. (it never came). I wouldn’t let such a small thing bother me too much but this wasn’t a York steakhouse, It was a Mitchels steakhouse. Somehow, I felt I should have seen better service. The food otherwise was good, the asparagus was a bit on the “thick” side, not too tender, but the steak was good. I probably won’t return to this restaurant unfortunately, I can and have done better elsewhere.

How disappointing. Came here for special occasion dinner. Server was good. However, that’s where it ended. We were a party of 6. Everyone’s steak was overdone and undersized. Salads were something you would expect at a low level chain. The prices were outrageous. We paid $150 for 2 steaks, 2 salads, and appetizer; before tip. We knew going in prices were high. We expected this for what used to be a premium quality restaurant. That is no longer the case. We will never return and recommend all family and friends do the same.

I had three ‘very small’ portions of vegetables which surprised me. (I didn’t order the full servings.) One vegetable was broccoli but the restaurant did not have Hollandaise. The cost for 3 tiny servings of vegetables was $28 and I tipped $5. WAY overpriced and some of the food was mediocre. My server was so pleasant; his service was excellent! I had ordered a half portion of a side dish of mashed potatoes. So bland. It was just potato mashed in water. No milk, cream, or sour cream was added. Sadly, I won’t be returning. Columbus has great restaurants from which to choose. When Mr. Mitchell owned this restaurant, it was wonderful. Next time, I’ll patronize a real Cameron Mitchell restaurant like Cap City or Ocean Club. The employees are nice but I regret having gone there.

Always a great time at any Mitchell’s. We sat at the bar and Grace took care of us. We were promptly greeted and placed our drink orders. I ordered a Temptation which was a nice refreshing tropical drink. My husband had the Regulars Only and is still talking about it 2 days later! The bourbon soaked cherries were what put it over the top. I had the tuna tartare for an appetizer and ate every single bite. Our steaks come out shortly after finishing the tartare. We both had 7 oz filets, cooked medium, perfectly I might add. He had the loaded baked potato and Grace went out of her way to check exactly what came on it and how it arrived tableside since my husband is a picky eater. He ate every bit and said he could’ve eaten a second course of the same meal it was so good! I had my filet Oscar style and I would’ve licked my plate if people weren’t watching! Lol
