Tried Blaze pizza for the first time. It was a nice pizza place and not too expensive. I thought they were a little light on the pizza toppings,but the pizza tasted good. Four people can eat for about $11 so it won’t break the bank.

Pizza is undoubtedly good. However, a word of caution; ensure you watch as they create your pizza like a hawk, especially when you’ve added ingredients. 50% of the time standard Ingredients are forgotten, 80% of the time any add ons will be forgotten. I asked for pepperoni to be added, watched them write it down, assumed everything was good, and realized after it was complete that there was no pepperoni.

Pizza had almost no toppings. For 20 bucks each they were terrible. Also had random droppings of other toppings we didn’t order on it. Kind of a big deal if someone was allergic to the olives or onions we didn’t order.

Food was great. The guys making my pizza were good, but during checkout, the lady cashing me out tried to shame me into leaving a tip. I’m sorry, but that seems ridiculous considering I came into the establishment, they didn’t have to deliver it. There was nothing extraordinary they did to warrant a tip. They were doing the job they were supposed to do….and getting paid to do it.

Amazingly done, fast food, cooked with fire, pizzas. From beginning your order to getting your pizza is an average of about 5-7 minutes. And its delicious. Your choice of toppings for a build your own pizza. Or choose one of the theme pizzas from the menu. Highly recommend this place. Its a favorite of mine and my family!

So as someone who worked for blaze and helped open the one in Iowa City Ia nd Burbank CA I will say this is one of the worst locations I been too. I have allergies an expressed it to them and still had issues. They don’t follow portions. They just over rush to just be done. I will say they they were nice employees but definitely need some training. Weren’t changing gloves when they dropped items on floor. Very messy and could have easily been cleaned!
