Chans customer service was impeccable! I called at 12:40am and chan was super welcoming and friendly. I had what the chef recommended and boy does he know his sushi! They were quick to get the sushi out and it was delicious! I would highly recommend trying this place out! I definitely will be coming back! Thank you Chan!

This place is amazing. This is amazing because just because of diversity also the quality. I ordered a sushi combo, a lobster sashimi set with abalone. They were fresh and well served as photos. I’ve been to most spots with high ratings in SD but here the food tastes were beyond expectation. I also had noodles and stew, which were also worth money. Highly recommend it if you want Korean stew with fresh sashimi and sushi + soju/plum wine

FIRST OFF THE POTATOE SALAD! I came back three nights in a row just for this! But besides my new obsession last night YEUL AND YUSHIN (so sorry for the misspelling) amazing service! I love coming to a place and the servers are happy to be there prompt and themselves!! Came back tonight in hopes of getting my potatoe salad cuz it was sold out the last two nights and tonight third times the charm!!! Sushi on hit !!! But overall the atmosphere is vibes af!

Zzan is a much welcomed Korean restaurant in the Convoy community. Having lived in Korea for 5 years, I’ve developed a longing for good Korean food to pair with soju. Zzan doesn’t let me down. My favorite items: Jjampong, grilled intestines (yes!) and some new items including a beef tendon soup go very well their range of soju options. I feel like these are the real deal. If you like Korean anju this is the place. The menu is varied so bring your friends too if they prefer other things.

I used to love this place, but since the last time I ordered, the quality has gone way down. The bulgogi I got tonight was really bland, and it used to be amazing. They also discontinued the spicy stir fried squid I loved so much. This place used to be one of my favorites but I don’t know if I’ll order again now.

The food was amazing, however the staff and management weren’t very helpful with our issue. They brought the food out wrong on their end and mixed up our orders. Food was eaten by the wrong person because they told us the orders wrong. We asked what we can do since they messed up our order and they claimed that the order was fine and they brought it out. They were correct about eventually bringing out the food but they gave it to the incorrect person insisting that the person had what they originally ordered. They proceeded not to help us and in the end did not satisfy our needs as customers.
