Today we stopped in and got Beef barley soup and Ty’s Cobb salad. This is a peaceful environment with indie vibes. A healthy stop for a day in Alpena. Soups change throughout the week with the option of getting a bread bowl. They also have a variety of hot teas.

Met a friend for lunch; excellent food with lots of menu choices. Portions were large so I took home leftovers. Fairly priced; cool vibe inside & friendly staff. I’ll definitely be returning to try something different and can’t wait to go on ramen day!

Only reason I am giving a 1 star is because I had to. I called and needed info the gal could have easily given me… she directed me to the fb page though I told her I already checked there and it wasn’t available! She didn’t listen. I went and looked AGAIN! and then had to call back as I said I would. There was still 5 min to closing and they refused to answer the phone! They would have had my business and I have a large family…. but…. because of their actions…. they might not last long here in Alpena.
