I read reviews online and they were not wrong! We started with an order of onion rings and deep fried mushrooms since these were mentioned in reviews. They did not disappoint!! The portions were huge, these are homemade appetizers, not the normal frozen until fried that you get everywhere else. The locals were welcoming and friendly in conversation. My daughter ordered the prime rib sandwich and absolutely loved it. I ordered the 16oz ribeye with shrimp but was unable to get to it as I was determined to finish the appetizers. The presentation of the food was spectacular. The two gentlemen working were busy but that didn’t affect their hospitality and effectiveness. I highly recommend this establishment and know I will be coming back when I’m in the area.

I visited this weekend with my sister in law and her friend who has a family cabin in the area. They were packed, which is a good sign for a restaurant! We were not in a rush at all but the waitress was very nice and let us know she had a few more tables that sat down at the same time as us so I went to grab drinks at the bar for our table while we waited. The bartender was so very nice and accommodating and the locals sitting at the bar were also very kind.

Was not sure what to expect from Loretta’s. When you arrive it looks like a county road bar, not a bad thing, but this a steak joint. Walk in and you see the space is comfortable and well designed but what got me; you smell the charcoal grill. I knew I was ordering a steak. The tenderloin and the ribeye where cooked to temperature (one medium the other rare) and did not disappoint. They had some nice local beers on tap, the service was attentive and very welcoming. For times you don’t want to pay up for steak they have plenty more on the menu…..we will definitely be back.

Very good! Obviously try the steak… the meatloaf is delicious! My daughter had a pork sandwich and it was very good. A friend tried the ribs and was not disappointed! The hamburgers are way above average. Try the old fashions with the crazy good cherries!

Extremely overpriced for what you get. It’s a glorified bar. The prime rib was well done, the ribs were subpar and not fall off the bone. The waitress couldn’t hardly be found. She messed up the order and was offended when I didn’t just want the sausage on the side. 10 minutes later. Wouldn’t eat here again.
