Lunch is a great option here. I really enjoy their chicken cutlet sandwich. Breakfast sandwiches aren’t as good as they used to be though. The hard rolls seem different. It could use a good Lupe’s roll.

I came into use the restroom and the lady told me I had to be a paying customer to do that. I’ve was prepared to purchase a water and she told me after I was at the counter again it had to be over three dollars. And refused to take my credit card. Not very friendly or easy-going at all.

By far one of THE best lunch spots in Wallingford. The soups. Amazing I mean Shepherds pie soup? Who knew?..yummy! Fresh baked goodies peppered throughout and the puddings and such. OMG Prices are so reasonable. I am able to get lunch dinner and dessert for 25.99. Too awesome for words…Thank you ladies

Had #12 combo grinder. Stale, tasteless french bread, not a lot of meat. Lettuce and tomato pre-bagged like Subway. Overall it was dry and tasteless. Barely 1 step up from Subway. Cost was $9.00 2/3/23.

From out of state…Friedly, clean. They did not hold back on meat! Prices were very inexpensive! Even if they do increase because of the food and wage increases they have had, they still will be reasonable! Very good grinder! Glad I skipped the next door Subway!

I have been going here for many years and when they recently closed and re-opened under new owners, I was worried! I am happy to say they are still amazing! The quality was fantastic, everything was incredibly fresh, and the portions were huge! In addition to the 3 sandwiches, I also purchased a container of stuffed cherry peppers (been looking for these everywhere) that were so good! To top it all off, the staff here are super nice and treat you like family! (Oh, and the prices were very reasonable!) If you are looking for a great sandwich or homemade food, I highly recommend Gigante’s Too on East Main in Wallingford!

Today was the first time I stopped in and I was very pleased. Having gone to Gigante’s on 68 for over 20 years, I was happy to see someone from the family carrying on the legacy yet putting their own spin on it. Had a chicken cutlet (#1) as well as a meatball sandwich and they were excellent. Big portions and a fair price. The deli is tastefully decorated, modern and very welcoming. The menu board has some old favorites and plenty of new items to keep you interested. Definitely give them a try.
