I treat myself to Dave’s Valley Grill since 2022 and it’s clean and well seasoned place in the Los Ranchos area. The staff is always nice and place is family-friendly. I have taken a few friends there and they love it. The food is always fresh and well prepared and presented nicely. Most of their desserts are HUGE! They even bar/lounge area. Restrooms are clean as well. I even met the owner who is very nice man. Price range $11-$19 matches large plates overflowing with food. Dave’s Valley Grill is worthwhile place for breakfast, lunch, dinner and drinks!

I finally got to try Dave’s, and I’m glad! I was intrigued by their menu that I read online-a mixture of American, British, and a splash of New Mexican. I wanted to re-experience my time in the UK, but that will need to wait until I return for brunch so I can try the beef short ribs with bubble and squeak.

Food was good, the service was soooooo slow which is why the 3 stars. If you are not in a hurry, then it’s a fine place. Took maybe 15 minutes to get a server to our table, another 15 more to get our drinks, maybe 10 more to order. The food did come out pretty quickly which was good and the portions are a good size. We may be back to see if it’s better one day, but it was not enough to say a definite return.

The experience I had today with my husband was really amazing. We came in and were seated right away. I like that you are able to see some of the kitchen when coming in to see how clean it is etc. My husband and I sat down in the new updated bar area. It was beautiful and chill as you can see in the photo it had very good lighting that was soothing and relaxing for brunch. I got 9 dollar mimosas which included 3 free refills (this is what they consider bottomless and it was a great deal, I believe it is 4 glasses total for just 9 dollars total so it is like you are paying 2 or 3 dollars per glass) I got the whiskey pancakes and my husband got the breakfast country bowl. The food was well made and came out fast. Our server was extremely attentive and nice. I felt taken care of the whole time. I forgot her name but she had short colored hair. Thank you to our server! Everything was clean and great.

First time went for brunch. Place was packed. It did take awhile for our food to arrived. There was mixup with the orders but they fix it right away (which was less than 5 minutes which was impressive). Server was amazing, everything we ordered was phenomenal. Honestly the price wasn’t bad. Great value for the portions you are getting. I do advise to come early since there’s a wait.

The wait was understandable (and worth it!) given the food, staff & vibe. It was packed and even with all the people my parents – both mid-late 70’s w hearing challenges – were able to easily hear and carry on a conversation. Staff – from host to wait staff to folks clearing tables – all incredibly kind and welcoming. Food had great flavor and, even though a packed house, came out quickly.

After another restaurant in that area screwed us over for our celebration, we were scrambling to find another close by to accommodate a large party…. Dave’s to the rescue!! It was better food, better service than what we would have received at the other place, and a lot more intimate of a setting. Service was great!! Amanda was very accommodating and pleasant. The margaritas were strong and delicious. We will definitely be visiting again.
