Everything delicious. The owner are friendly and nice lady. The price reasonable, it’s average. They are clean and nice design on the wall. Wish have more portion with the same price. After all this is the best place to go alone or with friends and families.

Date night Saturday was a bit out of the ordinary for my wife and I. This trip took us to Portsmouth’s West End at a place we had never been together before. My wife has enjoyed lunch, but this was our first dinner together. I’m talking about Nikki’s Bahn MI at 801 Islington St(Pic 1).

Hidden gem! Cute spot with beautiful wall art and a cool counter to sit at. Great customer service. The Bulgogi beef buns and lemongrass bánh mí we’re fresh and delicious! They also offer a wide variety of boba. Will be back!

The food is out of this world! I previously thought Five Thai Bistro has the best Pad Thai in town, but Nikki’s proved me wrong! I’ll probably never go back to Five Thai Bistro. The Bahn Mi is delicious too but the real star of the show is the steamed buns!! They are a must try. Everything was absolutely amazing. Can’t wait to go back.

One of my favorite Portsmouth restaurants! Their Bahn Mi and Drunken noodles are amazing along with the rest of their menu. If you catch them on a day they make sesame balls… It’s a must have!

My boyfriend and I fell in love with the Pineapple fried rice (we added chicken). We also got a level 2 Chicken drunken noodles, I’m not a fan of the noodles – texture thing. The spice level was decent, and were interested in seeing what a level 1 is because 2 had us taking drink breaks. I got a Korean Beef BBQ Banh Mi, I was not as impressed as I was with the rest of the meal ♀️ We’ll be going back for more pineapple fried rice

We have always come here for the sandwiches but tonight we decided to try some of their Asian specialties. I had the bowl of goodness and my husband had the Thai fried rice with pork. Generous servings, fast and friendly service and yummy food. You can’t go wrong. The sub sandwiches are equally as good too!

The tofu in the Bahn mi had no flavor. When we requested sauce to put on it, they said they had no Sriracha and had been having trouble making their sauces. That should have been explained before we ordered. They did offer some chili crisp to add, which helped a little. The bread and carrots were good, but I had to remove most of my tofu to finish my sandwich.

Fast delicious food, customized for a vegetarian [always willing to make it without the meat] and excellent service with a smile. Love the sesame balls and drunken noodles! A good mixture of excellent food and casual atmosphere – like being at home but without having to do the dishes.

I struggled on a decision to post a review as I’m very supportive of small businesses and local businesses, especially businesses owned by minorities. However, I would l feel guilty not providing a honest review of my experience to ensure people know what to expect. Full disclosure, I’ve been to Vietnam several times and grew up in Chinatown Boston. I ordered a banh mi sandwich and it was not very good, looked nothing like the pictures they post on online magazine reviews. The sandwich had 2 small pieces of meat, the carrots were straight from a bag of pre-shredded carrots bought at a grocery store, chopped lettuce, cucumber, cilantro, and sweet chili sauce from a store bought Thai Kitchen jar, and mostly all sub roll. An authentic Banh Mi should have pate, Asian head cheese and bologna, and choice of meat piled high, w/ fresh julienned carrots, daikon, cucumbers, cilantro, Thai chilies all on a crusty baguette w/ a soft interior. Unfortunately this was not only unauthentic but not made w/ fresh ingredients.
