The food is nasty. They ran out of shrimp and told me after I paid and waited. The burrito has no flavor with cheap talapia fish. The nachos taste horrible. The ceviche was sub with fish and overloaded with tomatos that taste like new shoes with no shrimp. No utensils also and didnt even ask; I had to use and find my own. I will never come back ever again. Never had such tasteless Mexican food ever and scammed my $ without even adjusting the bill.

Excelente Tortilla soup! Fresh and tasty! One of the best tortilla soups I have tasted here in the US or in Mexico! The chicken burrito was amazing. We tried the empanadas and they were amazing!

Great mexican food. Staff was really nice, welcomed and they helped us choose what we wanted to have for dinner, I have my favourites but I always like to listen to the recommendations and we ended up with one of recommended starters and we asked a few questions too about the dishes generally. From the drinks to the desserts, all was really good and tasty. Fish tacos are always one of my choices and churros were really nice and interesting! We had a pincher of mango marguerita that was really nice and well done!

The employees and manager talk so loud and you can’t enjoy a meal and relax ; the chips where oily and the even put oil on there corn tortillas ??? The tortilla soup was not good – no flavor just broth over whelm with strips of tortilla and some chicken but very disappointing. My husband wanted the burrito bowl salad – we didn’t eat it – too much dressing on it; really was discussing. I want to order a side off beans but they were too busy to chatting amongst themselves to get there attention. Funny thing is we were the only table –

Loved the Mama Coco Cocina in Menlo Park, but this one in San Carlos didn’t inspire the same love. I dined in on a cold night and the restaurant was as cold as a freezer. Other people who came in chose to leave because it was so cold and the restaurant couldn’t close the door due to some regulatory reason that I think is questionable. Either way, the cold was so bad that my food arrived barely warm. I ate as quickly as humanly possible, but most of the food was cold by the time it reached my mouth. I asked for a Coke or Pepsi along with my meal and was super disappointed to see that there’s no fountain soda. It wasn’t even a Mexican Coke. Rather, they just have plain old boring metal cans of Coke, which I’m not a fan of. The service was nice and the food tasted fine, but it was painfully cold sitting in my chair and the meal was kind of ruined by the food being cold as well. I imagine this restaurant is more enjoyable to visit when it’s warm outside.

A step up from a traditional taqueria, with a vibrant outdoor eating area next to the park. Great for casual dining and catching the downtown vibe. Family-friendly, kid’s menu, vegetarian options, accessible.

I had the sueza de mariscos. It was the BEST SEAFOOD dish I’ve had at any Mexican restaurant!! Amazing if you like a little spice try their Serrano margarita. They do an excellent job of sweetening it up just enough!

Ordered burrito & Chile relleno. It’s was ok ok for me. May be it would be idle for someone who might like simple food. I felt it was simple.

Wonderful warm friendly service with very authentic Mexican dishes. A bit on the pricey side but it’s a much better experience.
