I recently ordered from Epstein’s Deli in Hartsdale, NY, after being encouraged to order directly through them to avoid fees. I placed an online order at 5:00 PM with a promised delivery time of 5:45 PM. However, the delivery was significantly delayed. After contacting them at 5:50 PM and 6:00 PM, I was informed that the driver had too many orders, leading to an additional hour-long wait. This meant my food would be in transit for over an hour and a half.

I have been going to Epsteins for over 30 years. My boss loves corned beef and I wanted to surprise him. I asked for “the best corned beef sandwich you’ve ever made” as I explained who it was for. I drove the sandwich to Manhattan and when my boss unwrapped it I saw a the smallest sandwich ever and when he opened it to put mustard on it the meat was fatty, stringy and unappetizing. What happened Epsteins?

I had heard a lot about Epsteins and figured I’d take the long drive to try their foods. On the Saturday I went, I overheard the manager expressing how annoying customers are which contributed to my uncomfortable experience. I proceeded to try and enjoy my meal when I asked him a question related to Passover. Not only did he reply rudely, he approached my concern as if it was a burden to him. This left a bitter taste in my mouth, I will never go back here and I hope people keep in mind the businesses they support.

Fantastic pastrami sandwich with fries. Nice pickles serving while you waiting on your food. Cherry soda and Cel ray soda something you don’t want to miss.

We drove from CT to do some shopping in the area and decided to try this deli since we can’t find a real pastrami sandwich around where we live. The store was clean and the service was good. The best part was the delicious pastrami sandwich we had along with French fries. We haven’t had pastrami this good in many years. It was the

We needed a last minute kosher caterer and Frank came through with flying colors. His spread was beautiful, the food tasted delicious and we could not have been more happy with how everything turned out. We will definitely be using them again, I can’t recommend this place enough!

Boy has this place declined. The inside is old and dirty and even the hot dogs are horrendous. The matzo ball soup was terribly salty and inedible. The pastrami is not the same quality as it used to be.

The food and service were great the place was clean. The restaurant physically needs a makeover, air conditioner was broken and it was 95 degrees outside, bathroom had a 70′ look, floors and booths were sweaty due to the air-conditioning being worked on. I live 90 miles away and when I am in the area it’s my choice for a good deli meat and pickles. It’s worth the visit
