Authentic Mexican food at a reasonable price! I am Mexican so I know what authentic Mexican food should taste like. I ordered “asada hurache” which is a typical Mexican dish from Central México and it was delicious! Very close to what I would get back at home. My girlfriend ordered “bistec ranchero” and it was great too. I also had a margarita with no surprises. It was good. To finish our great time there, we also ordered tres leeches for dessert. That one wasn’t as good. It needed more milk.

Excellent Mexican. Coming from New Mexico it’s hard to find in New England, but find it we have. Fantastic, homemade chips, great staff and delicious ingredients. It’s as close to the real thing as I’ve found up here. Highly recommend them.

Pretty good Mexican restaurant, which caught me by surprise. I had not much expectations when I entered this place, but the menu and quality of food won me over.

My wife and I had cravings for Mexican food last night and we came across El Rancho Grande with great reviews. The trip was well worth it. Their cebiche is to die for with the perfect margarita to wash it down! Maria, the owner was on site and visited each table to welcome everyone. She was awesome! I would recommend you visit this place if you haven’t been.

Amazing food. Taquitos were hand rolled. Corn shrimp taco had a sweet flavor, the carnitas were a little dry but the adobada and pork belly were great. And margaritas were strong but very tasty. Would eat here every day if it was closer. Staff was very friendly.

Best Mexican restaurant. Maria is the best chef. That’s how it used to be. The last 2 visits were not good. 2.5 hours to have dinner. No food for 90 minutes. I will no longer recommend it to friends. Got take out today. Charged 3 dollars for chips and salsa. The salsa was minimal. The service and food is going down.

It’s small, and busy. Nice option to wait outside with a cocktail! Our margaritas were outstanding with fresh lime juice, however limited spirits was difficult for non tequila drinkers. No vodka at all and only Mexican beers. We were graciously greeted by the owner and engaged often, during our 45 min wait. Once seated we ordered, paella, chimichanga, enchilada, and a taco and tamale for an appetizer. It took over an hour for any food to show up! The house tortilla chips were long gone, never refilled, and the waitress actually came over to explain that the “seafood takes longer to prepare” I’m not sure why, since seafood actually cooks fairly quickly when done properly. The paella was tasty, but lacked content (2 littlenecks, 2 mussels, no octopus noticed, barely any shrimp or scallops… and was kind of a smaller portion for a shared $28 dish. Not anywhere comparable to Los Andes, Spain or Madeira. Enchilada flavor was ok- and skimpy on side beans and rice. Tres leches tasted very light- like a angel food cake and frosted in real whipped cream. I felt it lacked that velvety texture of other versions I’ve had elsewhere.

Delicious! Cute lil spot. We came at 9 so almost til closing, and we ordered a lot, so obviously it took us long to get our food BUT our margaritas (mango & coconut/coconut was better) were delicious & our food (other than the rice for both dishes) was delicious & they don’t rush you out!

Location is very small. Came in and had to wait outside for a table to be open. There was no host or anyone to take our name to be seated or know the order we arrived. We waited about 30-45 min to get a table. The service was very good once we had a seat. The servers were very friendly and accommodating. Once we ordered our food, it took about another 30-45 min to get all of our food. The food was very good and filling. Very authentic Mexican food for sure.

As a Mexican, I can say this is the best Mexican food I have tried in the United States. Plus they have good non commercial tequilas and awesome margaritas! Staff is friendly, but it gets quite busy.
