Mizzy’s Pizza – is still independently owned and operated by Jeff & DeAnne Misgen since 2004. Our new name (Mizzy has been Jeff’s nickname since he was a boy!) is a reflection of our pride in our business and our children and family that have worked with us over the years.

As a long time fan of the Belle Plaine business was excited to get to try it in a full sit down type experience since this place is way bigger and has a patio and a full bar. Showed up with a group that was supposed to be around 10 and ended up being 16. They handled us always expanding with ease. Had our orders handled with no problem. Kenzie was amazing and has visits from both owners. The Carver Cheese squares are amazing and the home made dough is awesome. Everyone in the party was happy with the service and the food.

We sat on the patio and enjoyed pizza and apps, with 5 children for my daughters 9th birthday celebration. Perfect place for kids! The owner has 8 kids so has really made his restaurant accommodating to families with children. They even brought us a second order of an app because it came out too brown from the fryer, class act!

We waited an hour and 5 min to get 1 of 2 dishes that we ordered. We then waited 20 min more until I finally got up and asked where our pizza was. It was surprising because the restaurant wasn’t busy at all. This was between 5pm – 6:30pm on a Saturday.

Arrived on a Friday afternoon at 4:40pm. When we arrived, we were the second family in the restaurant before the dinner rush. We ordered two drinks, an appetizer, and a pizza. We waited an hour. We ordered two more drinks. In that time, the restaurant filled up. At 5:40, the table that had arrived to the restaurant before us finally got their food. At 5:55pm, we left after waiting over an hour for our food to arrive. It never came.

The people are great, the manager is very kind, however, we waited nearly two hours from when we placed our order to until we received it and one of pizzas was extremely salty. But I hope they can get this figured out because this place has amazing potential. If you have small children consider doing delivery or takeout.
