The freshly fried chicken wings may have been the best I’ve ever had. It was so crisp outside and melt in your mouth tender inside, so good. The biscuits were also wonderfully good. The fries on the other hand was just alright. Their fried liver sold out so I hope to return for that before leaving Gatlinburg.

Great little spot with fast service! This is a joint restaurant with a southern home cooking style menu at Mama’s Kitchen as well as the sub shop. We decided to try some items from both, and it did not disappoint! It is set up like a quick service, which is really efficient. We ordered at the counter, and our food was brought to us hot and fresh. Great experience and we will be back!

Came from out of town and wanted to try some of their unique wing flavors…turns out they also have a sandwich shop. I ended up with a Philly, Italian sub, and mixed wings. It was all good. The staff was friendly and answered all of my many questions. It also wasn’t as busy as the usual places in the area. The sweet chili wings do taste better than the kickin’ Bourbon -for anyone else indecisive. It’s a toss up on the Philly vs the Italian sub. Also try a biscuit and peach butter…it tastes like a cobbler.

Nice and clean restaurant with a friendly staff. Food was decent! Chicken and Dumplings tasted good but there was hardly any chicken in it. Fried chicken needed to be crispier but overall everything was good. Much better option than the chain restaurants downtown Gatlinburg

This was one of the best meals we have had on our trip across five states and also one of the cheapest. It’s kind of funny how that works. Way better than KFC, Mama’s Chicken Kitchen is in a tier of its own.

Great chicken! I got the fried chicken breast, leg and thigh meal with the green beans and coleslaw and a biscuit. I also got a dinner salad. My mom got the chicken wings with chicken dumpling soup and coleslaw. I actually gave her my biscuit and she said it was the best biscuit she’s ever had (she actually went up and ordered two more afterwards to have in the morning with the peach jam they serve with it). She also loved the chicken dumpling soup. The chicken was moist and delicious. Highly recommended.
