This was my first visit. I ordered a mixed dozen of pork & chicken and 1/2 dozen of spinach tamales. These are hands down some of the best tamales I’ve ever had. I couldn’t make it home, we started eating them while still in the parking lot. The green salsa is amazing as well. The customer service experience was very pleasant. I enjoyed everything and can’t wait to go back!

I would purchase tamales from them again..tamales had to much garlic and the Masa wasn’t done..it’s not their fault I ordered to many and I had to wait a little for my tamales. Otherwise around here in souhwest houston the best tamales around..

I was craving tamales so bad but this was the only place around that I could find that had meatless options so I bought 2 dozens. 1.5 dozen jalapeño and cheese, and half dozen of spinach and cheese. They are SOOO good, my favorite is the jalapeño! The sauce is incredible too! The tamales themselves are on the larger side as well, so I was impressed. Will definitely return here anytime I want tamales.

We stopped here during the holidays and it was so busy we decided to try after the new year. In a word, WOW. The brisket cheese tamale is stunning. Just delicious. We also tried the chicken which were the best chicken tamales I have tasted. We will return soon to try them all. The green salsa is excellent. A nice little spot with welcoming staff. Help support these hard working folks and enjoy some great food.

Chicken tamales are generally dry in my experience, but this place makes them deliciously moist and flavorful! I wish they were spicy but that’s why you make sure you get a side of green salsa.

I first came across Momma’s Tamales at a Farmers market in Tomball in 2021 and I have been a fan ever since. I ran into her booth at another fall festival this year in O remind me of the ones my aunt use to make(RIP to my aunt).They just remind me of my aunts cooking… Being home for Christmas this year I decided to get up this morning and drive to Momma’s Tamales store front. I pull up and there is a line just for people who pre-ordered. I said to myself ,”yes these are the best tamales and the line outside is proof”. The line for walk up orders was not too bad and it was moving fast. You will not be disappointed with these tamales regardless of what kind you order. The green sauce is a must, I ordered a large size of it, it is that good. If I could give these tamales 10 stars I would they are that good.
