The food was extremely good i especially loved the Top sirloin, it tasted absolutely delicious, it came with a side of salad and a vinaigrette. Everyone else at my table had the fish and chips, and they loved it. We had two waitresses i’m gonna assume one was just starting to work there, but they where both amazing. Sadly i didn’t catch there names but if they did i would list them, it was very cold inside thank you so much for the air conditioning that was just amazing. outside there was a little cooling thing that would spray out mist and it was basically water but if you sat outside it would feel really nice. There also was some wildlife out side too, i saw some squirrels, small birds, big birds, and it was really a beautiful small area.

Came with my husband for dinner on a busy Saturday night, place was super busy, we waited 50 mins for a table. Finally we got seated on the patio, service was lacking, I think they were understaffed. We order what our server quickly recommended, my chicken was very dry and didn’t have any flavour at all, same with the burger. IMO place is overrated, overpriced and food is less than average.

Selection of food on the menu was great. I had ordered the Rueben sandwich and my girlfriend had the Chicken Tortilla Soup an Panini sandwich. All food was great. Service was good but I believe slow because of the crowd. Atmosphere was also good but got a bit loud. All and all, well worth trying and going back to.

Do not try the chicken kale salad, my server was not engaging and lacked customer service skills. The place is appealing but it’s difficult to have a conversation when you are so close to others. I will have to give it a second visit and order something better.

This was a difficult rating to give. We sat at the bar while waiting for a table. The bartender was very friendly and gave great recommendations however my drink wasn’t good at all. Then we headed to our table where the service from the waitress was terrible but the food was delish! We had a larger party and a lot of us ordered the chicken only to have the waitress return and tell us they didn’t have enough for all of us so 2 people needed to select a different entree. It wasn’t a great experience for my birthday dinner. Disappointing.

We had a late lunch here for Valentine’s Day. This was our first time visiting Down on Grayson. The atmosphere was nice they do have indoor and outdoor seating. They were not that busy considering it being Valentine’s Day, but this is the reason we went at the time we did. Our server Maddie was polite. I did give service just 2 stars ⭐. Maddie took our drink and food order. I ordered the Char King with French Fries . Hubby had the Reubens Sandwich with French Fries . They were both delicious. I did like the French Fries they were crispy but they still had a soft middle. Maddie did not check on us after delivering us our food. We were done eating before she stopped by asking if we needed a to go box. She did not ask if we wanted any dessert . It was a little to early for a cocktail for us so I can not comment about them. They do have beer , wine and cocktails .

Where do I start? I was there with my uhmazing wife, my brother and sister in law. The outside seating area looked very nice, but it was a little cold to sit out there. They do have the flame heaters at each table. The server was very attentive and came with a Padawan learner. So we got two servers for the price of one. We ordered onion rings and they were very good! For the main meal I had the char king which was pretty good, except I thought the top bun was too much bread. The fried are bland, but the homemade chips are pretty good. My wonderful wife got the crispy fish with a butter sauce. That also looked tasty. I think I would go back again sometime.
