I was really in the mood for Bosnian food and came here. You know you’re in for a treat if you’re walking into a hole in the wall! I thought the food here was okay The Doner Kebab Sandwich was big on portions, and every bite was memorable. I also ordered Cevapi and wished it was bigger. The flavor is all there, but they are one biters. The bread used was deliciously buttered and toasted! Lastly, I ordered white rice and I loved how it was aromatic it was with subtle flavor. I also enjoyed the decor in the inside as had origin stories of serbia-balkan as well. I was hoping they had Burek but the staff directed me to a place that did carry it. The staff is absolutely I ordered takeout and wanted to try it out before I drove back and sat down for a quick bite, and the gentleman offered free water or fountain soda. If there is any reason I’d be back, it’s because it’s the little things like that -count ✨️

Delicious food! The bread is made in-house and it is fantastic. I had a Doner bowl. It was overfilled with food. I could only eat half of it! The Turkish coffee hit the spot!

The team was welcoming, and very helpful since this was our first time dining at the Balkan House.. We asked to be served what they are well known for, which is the Doner Kebab and Falafel.

Was delicious food. The buns that the sandwich came in were outstanding. Can’t wait to go back a second time.

I have no clue taste of what they serve, but atmosphere was terrible I didn’t,t even want to stay 2 minutes to check the food. The hostess was also weirdly rude about asking us if we will dine in or take out.I just took out myself in 20 seconds. Please spend some money for your restaurant, it shows your respect to your customers as well as serving clean and good food.

I am not kidding when I say, this is the greatest sandwich in existance. The Doner Kebab. A beef and lamb kebab in this bread that only be described as the perfect vessal for happiness. Topped with lettuce, tomato, cucumber, and a tzatziki-like sauce with hungarian paprika with pickled purple cabbage. All I can say is that my taste buds were taken on an expedition and I can’t wait to do this again. And if you are wondering how to eat it, you just pull the bread down and it is remarkably easy to eat. A 10 out 10 is an understatement for this. 5 stars is not enough.

The food is excellent. However, you must be willing to wait. On our visit, we waited 30 minutes to place our order then another 30 for the food to arrive. That said, we did go during lunch on a Friday, so maybe they weren’t prepared to be that busy. I imagine going during “off times” would be better.

This place was good. I appreciate that there’s an authentic Balkan restaurant in the area. I’ve only ever had the doner sandwich here, so I can’t compare it to any others, but it was good. The coffee was delicious and comes in such a beautiful way. I also ordered the Bosnian Burger. This was extremely greasy and was literally just meat and bread. Maybe they made it exactly how it’s supposed to taste, but it just wasn’t my thing. Service was good. My biggest complaint are the prices. I think the kebab couldn’t be a couple dollars less easily, and felt similarly about the rest of the menu. Most people living in and around Hanteamck don’t want to spend $10 on a sandwich.

Got the doner kebab and it was excellent!! I’ll have to come back and try the cevapi and burek. They are dishing out some of my favorite foods here! Check it out if you’re nearby.
