I cannot say enough about how amazing this place is. The price, the people, the food. All around quality. I moved further away from Cali Burrito in the past month, and I tried a local Burrito joint in downtown Burlington’s foodcourt and it was so foul. Paid extra for extra protein and there was barely any when we recieved our food, it was greasy and not very good taste, poor portions for what we ordered. Was excited to try this place based on high reviews but came out pretty disappointed.

I came in here not know what the hell is going on, but the homies behind the counter were super friendly and most of all, helpful. As a first time customer from San Diego, CA, I am hooked and very pleased with the food, service and atmosphere. The, build it your way style of ordering is also a very nice touch. Thank you, thank you to the owners of California Burrito! I have been here three years and we haven’t been able to find any Mexican food worth eating! I had your fish tacos, my husband shrimp tacos. We shared a carne asada fries. We haven’t seen any of these in three years here. You have saved my Mexican California taste buds. This Mexican is so happy right now. The table was quite the entire time we were eating! I haven’t had tomatillos in three years! Honestly, your food is amazing, eventually I want try everything. We definitely will be a regular customers. I kind of panicked when my husband told me the story of the construction going on in front of your restaurant. He was told that your business is slow right now. Get a huge banner in front, We Are Open! I don’t want to loose you!

Mediocre at best. The burrito is big. I counted 10 chips as my “side” with 1/2 a sauce cup of salsa. MY JAW DROPPED when I saw $33 dollars pop up for 2 burritos and two drinks and 20 tortilla chips I cannot. This place is way over priced, not that good and the environment is NOT welcoming. I can go to Outback and get 2- 6oz sirloin steak meals with 2 sides and free bread for the same price. Wish I would have went to outback after spending that kind of money. Tip to the owners…drop the size of the burritos and cut the prices. What a rip off. Half the taps weren’t connected to the soda dispensers either. I won’t be back, I give this place a year and they’ll be shut down.

So good!! In town for tournament for less than 48hours and happy we found it early so we could eat there twice. Just grilled chicken and fresh looking toppings. Chicken Quesadilla & Ground Beef and/or Chicken Burrito were awesome. The Carne Asada Fries also looked super yummy. Good Queso & Guac! Yummy chips on the side. …and Bad Bunny playing in the background 😉 Happy Customers. Trying the Taco Salad next time we’re in town.
