My son and i were craving sbarro so we went here.. this is not sbarro.. this is black and brown “marinara” sauce.. I lost my appetite looking at it. Horrible. The guy working there needs to be replaced ASAP. Past 2 times I went here it was horrendous, never going back until I see a new person working and edible looking food

So my first time here, the server was nice. (I found out after I had paid and started eating that there was supposed to be sauce on my stromboli.) It was my first time getting one so I didn’t know. Also there was pretty much nothing but cheese in the pepperoni and cheese stromboli. It was pretty bland. It wasn’t warm. It was a brick. Rarely have I seen such lackadaisical behavior from employees. Watching these two people plate pizza was like watching a slug race. There was one party in line in front of us and it must have taken them 20 minutes to fulfill our order. The owners of Southwest Plaza mall should get rid of this waste of retail space and find a company where employees actually care about their jobs.

The pizza is decent here considering its a large chain. I work in the mall so I get food from here often enough and I would agree that when it first opened up several months ago, the pizza was a little cold at times. That has vastly improved of late.

I’ve never written a review for a restaurant, but the food and service here was disturbing enough that I feel the need to. I didn’t expect much, and only bought this because I was in the mall and pretty hungry. I got a Stromboli, which was promptly pulled off a plate thrown on the counter under no heat lamps or heated at all, and then tossed into the oven for about 20 seconds to “reheat” it. It was still rock solid in the middle and cold, and tasted absolutely horrific. I also watched the employee handle money, and then handle food without changing his gloves, they had to hack at the stale pizza crust that had been sitting out for God knows how long, and they walked by me when I first tried to order. This place has some serious health code violations, and if you dont believe me go watch them “cook” your food. I don’t know if you can justify paying 6$ for a stale piece of bread with rock hard cheese in the middle, but I sure can’t. I set the bar real low, and yet, this place still managed to underperform on every single aspect of it. Save yourself the trouble, and eat anywhere else.

This outlet is the worst. Only a few Sbarros in Colorado left. Just look around and you’ll know you should go somewhere else. Totally lethargic staff. Totally filthy. I believe it stems from the culture the employees come from. Sanitation is not a strong suit. There was a dude just standing behind the guy serving me that sneezed with no attempt to cover his mouth. Both “employees” were disheveled and looked dirty themselves. I’m mad at myself for ingesting a slice. The Aurora mall outlet is exactly the opposite. Shut this place down!

The first time I ate here everything was hot and fresh but today both my pizza and Stromboli was cold. Not just slightly warm but actually cold. Tastes good but a little disappointed on how cold it was.
