I had been waiting to try this place for a while and will go back. They have a lovely, friendly staff. The atmosphere is minimalist, but not uncomfortable. They were quick as well.

Cannot say enough good things about this place! Discovered it two weeks ago and have already been three times! Trying to bring everyone I can here. The 2 pupusa plate is the way to go. Pick any two types they have on the menu/the weekly special goes with some delicious rice and beans. Pair that with a cold drink for only $15 is a steal! Employees are kind and helpful. Both sauces they provide are great, but if you like heat go with the hot read! I will be back as many times as I can before I leave town!

I really love their papas tropical burrito. I drive out of my way every time I’m in the area to get this burrito. It is one of my favorite burritos of all time.

I’ve come here for lunch several times now and have enjoyed the food and the experience each time. I’ve gotten the pupusa burger and the pupusa plate, both with chicarron e queso, and the tropical al pastor burrito. The burrito was fantastic! The last time I went, I didn’t think the pupusas were that good. Honestly, I remembered them being better. My issue with them was that they were far too bready, especially on the outer portions. And they didn’t come out hot enough, so the cheese wasn’t melty. Picky, I know. But I’ve had some excellent pupusas before, so my standard is sort high. These just miss the mark, especially for the price. And wow, this place can be expensive if you’re not careful with what you order. Overall the food is good, service is quick, staff is friendly and there’s plenty of seating inside or outside. Atmosphere is just an outdated strip mall so no big deal there. I definitely recommend Don Julio’s because there’s something for everyone!

The chicken mole burrito was amazing, best we’ve ever had. The pollo pupusa was equally incredible. Will definitely be back to explore the rest of the menu. Wonderful staff as well.
