Very chill atmosphere in this small but mighty restaurant. We were served by Laura and had the daily special. We also purchased a delicious Brownie that was perfectly placed at the register, one of last minute decision you won’t regret. The food was cooked fresh and was amazing! The serving size was large and with 3 in our party we were able to sample each other’s salad, soups, and sandwiches. There is an Elvira pin ball machine that offers some friendly competition while waiting. You may need to visit the laundromat next door for quarters :-). Laura was great at taking our order, bringing our food, and ensuring we were taken care of.

I can not say enough about the tuna melt. If you like tuna melts this is the best in HRVA. Chicken salad sandwich is delicious as well. The soups of the day are creative and always worth trying.

I love The Ten Top. The food is always fresh and tasty. I’ll usually order the tuna melt with potato salad…no matter what my entree, it’s always the potato salad for me. They do service what look to be delicious dinners, but I always consider (in my mind) to be more of one of my lunch options.

This spot was enjoyable. The staff were polite. The dine-in atmosphere was nice and ‘homey’. The food wasn’t the best for our liking BUT I could see other’s taste appreciating the menu. In my opinion, the cucumber dill dressing was extremely overwhelming on the Greek Lamb Hoagie; and the turkey apple club was dry. We may return to try different menu options, since initially the online reviews convinced us to stop by.

So I have had a place saved to my “Want to go” list on Google Maps. We missed the serving time for that location. So this was the first place they recommended. At first glance, I was not sure about “The Ten Top”. They were plenty busy and the orders were lining up while we were deciding. I was concerned that the wait was going to be longer than I wanted. I have seen time and time again that you can not judge a book by its cover. Wow, I am happy that we did not skip out on this visit. We ordered carry out and the the food was still hot after a 20 minute drive. I had the best meatloaf I have ever had. WOW! I now had to fend off the family. My wife had a BBQ chicken salad and our daughter had a meatloaf sandwich. They both loved their food as well.

SO DELICIOUS AND BIG PORTIONS!! I wish I was able to eat all of the potato salad I was given because it was really something else. I’ve definitely never had a potato salad that good. I got a ham and pear sandwich and that was also incredible. The guy behind the counter was super nice too! Oh and make sure you get a ginger ale!! It’s something fancy but I forget the name regardless it’s spicy and delicious. I definitely wanna go back!
