Wow, what a hidden gem!! The food is amazing, the place looks and feels like a Louisiana restaurant and even the cook/owner came out to make sure everything was good. I had a whitefish plate with coleslaw and white beans and also a catfish plate with French fries and coleslaw. All the side are made in house from scratch and it shows!! The white beans are spectacular….. so much so I bought a side to go!!

Finally got to eat here. The catfish plate with two sides was plenty of food for me. I chose Cole slaw and fries as the two sides with bottled water to drink. The food was prompt in getting to our table. The fish and fries were nice and hot and the slaw was perfect. The owner suggested we try the white beans next time and bright us a little sample to taste. The ambiance took me right back to a seaside eatery. The food was a little pricey and the parking can be a little rough but it was worth it!

Arrived just before closing. They graciously and freshly prepared a hot plate to go. Super personable and friendly. The whiting fish breading was a flavorful blend of spices that will delight your taste buds. Fresh hot fries, yummy slaw.

I’m not a fish lover, but my mother is so I took her out to eat here and I’ve got to say, maybe I’ve just had bad fish all my life because everything was delicious. I had the catfish plate, coleslaw, and white beans and have since gone back for more. My mother was in fish heaven and found everything to be so delicious. The staff are fantastic, very friendly, and treat you like family. Casual and conversational atmosphere with lots of chill vibes 10/10 would go again in a heartbeat 🙂

I moved from Mississippi to Tennessee 5 years ago. I raised catfish commercially nearly 15 years. I can’t remember the last time I had catfish so good. Perfect breading, cooked just right and so tasty. I had the fries and slaw with the fish. Best slaw I’ve ever had. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who likes catfish. The hospitality was top notch too. Smooth jazz playing topped off an excellent experience. I’ll be back for sure and I’m bringing someone with me. For a moment I was back home.

Good to finally find a real catfish restaurant in my area. The fish was hot and fresh with just the right amount of breading. Sides were also good. I only wish the white beans had been ready. I will be back regularly

The floors needed mopping Bad! They didn’t have tea. All other drinks were bottled or can. They are closed down now. And I’m thinking the rent was to high because nothing stays in that building long. And the parking lot is terrible owner should have that fixed before any body else tries to make go of it in this building.
