Don’t judge a book by its cover, because this place was awesome! We ordered the jalapeño poppers, I got a well seasoned burger and Nick and the kitchen were able to accommodate my silly request of half tater tots/string fries which were delicious!

Great place to stop for drinks! Enjoyed the atmosphere, everyone was friendly. Bartenders Nick and Kyle helped make our girls night even more enjoyable. Can’t recommend enough and won’t hesitate to stop by again when in town!

It’s got a good rating for a reason. We stopped in after the sun went down and found all the light to have gone into this interior. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, prices were great, and the food was delicious. if I’m ever in the area I’ll absolutely be back to try more of the menu.

Great dive bar. Stopped in several years ago with a group during a pub crawl. We had yummy fried apps and good service. Stopped again recently during a pedal bike outing. Awesome Halloween decorations. Super friendly service – drinks are a bit pricey.

My Girl has been telling me about this place for over two years and we finally found ourselves in the vicinity with time to spare for a meal. Knowing I’m a history buff, especially local history, my Girl’s been feeding me tidbits of information about the buildings past including that it was once part of the underground railroad, and was also a speakeasy with ties to the people gang during prohibition. The building is allegedly haunted and there’s video footage of an excavation done in conjunction with Wayne state university in the basement where there may be hidden rooms or tunnels.

Good food and great service, and they carry all the familiar booze. TVs showing all the sports.. I’m thinking I might watch The Lions here on Sundays. A dive bar that *Is Not* gross.

The service was a littlw slow, bit it is a dive bar, so not a bad thing in my opinion. The decor is what would expect from a dive bar and i thought it was cool. Had the 1904 Detroit Dogs with chili, soooo delicious. Also got the cheese burger and seasoned waffle fries. The fries were really good, the burger had a different flavor, not bad but different. All in all I wpuld come back.
