My family and I live fairly close by. We decided to give this place a try one night and we loved the food. When I arrived to pick up my order I was greeted with a warm welcome. The cashier was nice and polite to me just like she was when I ordered on the phone. unfortunately I didn’t catch her name. The food was still nice and warm when I got home. My family and I agreed the food was good and saved this place as a place we’d like to come back to. I went today to grab a late lunch for us. Was still yummy and the food was nice and warm. The portions are good, but then again I don’t eat much so what may be a good portion for me might not be considered a good portion for you. I don’t have to wait long and I’m always greeted when I come inside. The same cashier as last time was working today. I definitely need to ask for her name next time lol!!! Because there will be a next time!

Gotta start off with the best plate lunch I ever had. The Garlic Honey Chicken!! Amazing plate lunch spot in Moanalua / Salt Lake area. They give great portion sides. More than enough for the prices. Fast service and super friendly. I have eaten here 4 times and have never been disappointed in the quality of food. Ate so quickly forgot pictures. Once you try their food, you will understand

Fantastic spot for some delicious food. We took the family here on the way back to Colorado and had an awesome dinner. This is a smaller establishment but it still felt spacious. We tried steak, chicken, coconut shrimp, and fried oysters. This is tucked away in a shopping center and was difficult to find but worth locating. The cashier was exceptionally patient as our kids took additional time to figure out what they wanted.

According to my sibling, this place had the best honey garlic chicken. Unfortunately, s/he didn’t order the honey garlic chicken, so s/he kept stealing mine! I tried some of her/his chicken katsu though, and it was delicious! Unfortunately, the restaurant took a while to finish my order and had to confirm what I ordered too. Regardless, lovely meal. I just wish they used less plastic.

It’s an older plate lunch restaurant, but it hit the spot, especially at the price point most of the items are priced at. There were a few items listed on the menu that were no longer available, such as kalua pork. Service was quick and the staff nice. I will return again the next time I am in the area.

Good local food but it’s a bit sweeter and more ginger than similar drive-ins. The staff was efficient and pleasant, but I wouldn’t say friendly.

My 1st time trying. I tried the recommended honey garlic chicken. It was good but could have used more of a garlic taste. It’s a basic local kine grinds, nothing to go tell the friends about though. It was a little expensive too. I might go back but maybe it’s better at soons bbq.

Had lunch here. Food was OK, out of a few items. Based on the other food we had in Hawaii, this would be our least favorite. Not terrible but also not someplace I would really recommend

Not bad in a pinch, but not quite the taste and value of L&L. I got their version of the beef stew mixed plate, so direct comparison seems appropriate. Firstly, it is the same price but about half the portion size I got at L&L. Stew, mac salad, and hamburger steak were all pretty good quality similar to L&L. The teri beef was mediocre with far too much ginger. Aside from the teri beef, it was a good tasting meal and I didn’t feel hungry as I left.
