Very disappointing. Southern fried Chicken was undersalted(tasteless breading), and not crispy. No salt, pepper or much seasoning in anything. NOT soul food! Plus, the order was filled incorrectly as to the type of pieces we ordered, we were shorted 2 dinner rolls….. Won’t be back.

I ordered food and never got it The delivery guy never showed up nobody would refund my money nobody would reorder my food, a week and a half later they messaged me Golden Chicken and said they would be glad to remake my order and make things right if I come and pick it up. Not sure what to think now certainly won’t be going back

Ordered a family bucket and 4pcs of lake perch. Almost 50.00. Told me 20 minutes. Got there no customers and still had to wait another half hour ok no problem. Get home and take the bucket of chicken out of the bag and the bottom opens up, chicken all over the floor. So I call them and they say there’s nothing they can do, what? So she’s asks someone else and she tells me that they can’t give the whole order again, but can do half. What? So, the another manager gets on the phone and tells me there is nothing she can do. Oh and the lake perch were not lake perch at all. I am sad because it used to be a great place to get broasted chicken. In all the years we went there, there was great service and great food. So, sad. So we ordered pizza from Bernie’s. Chicken went in the garbage.

Miss the old owners please come back!!! Or show them how to cook some chicken and clean their oil. The chicken we got smelled like catfish or some type of fish you can clearly tell the did not keep up with there oil. Girl taking the order was all in her phone texting not even hearing anything I wanted extra cause all the extra stuff I asked for I did not get. This place is awful

Needs major improvement. The first time we went our mashed potatoes & fries were ICE cold. Very long wait. No jerk Mac & cheese or koolaid. Second time we did a large order , we were missing a large mashed potato, a large Mac and cheese and all 12 rolls. I stated no fries twice and still ended up with fries. Again they had no jerk mac and cheese and the koolaid fridge was completely empty as well as the soda fridge. We asked for a side of gravy and was told they could ring it up as a coleslaw for $5… there were also multiple kids running around behind the counter and just seemed very unprofessional. The chicken is good but everything else including the service is severely lacking. I won’t be back until it improves.

Called in an order for two chicken dinners at 4:50 was told 25 minutes which is perfect because that’s approximately the same amount of time it takes me to drive there from the north side. I was glad to see that they had reopened recently. Got there checked in and paid for my order I was told it would be a few minutes. 5 10 15 minutes past so I had to go ask again about my order,after waiting for the young lady to reappear from behind the big curtain, (What’s with the curtain) she mumbled something about how the kitchen never put my order down and she was very sorry, yea me too. Took my $20.00 back and left I guess I’ll just drive 20 minutes to Oak Creek and spend my money at that Golden Chicken next time.

I love chicken and their fries are the best in town. The ONLY fries that actually taste just as good reheated..you gotta do it right though, by leaving them in the bag and put them in the microwave for a couple minutes. The bag holds the steam in and keeps them moist and full of flavor. Make sure to remove the staples from the bag before putting in the microwave. Their pizza is good too. Try the BBQ chicken too
