First time in an Ethiopian Restaurant. My cousin wanted me to try eating without utensils and I said, “Let’s go!” She ordered and I enjoyed. You take what seems like a interesting pancake, tear it off and the grab the food and eat. You mix flavors and textures with various degrees of heat. Then we had an Ethiopian coffee for $8. They roast the beans and everything – so unique and worth the the “expression” experience. Be aware the bathrooms are not as presentable and the service was slow. I would still go back again

The food was amazing and seasoned well. The injera was delicious too! Not too tangy and so soft and spongy. Turn it into a pillow! service was good too. Feels like a mom an pop shop. Would definitely come back for the cozy atmosphere and food!

Again, this app needs a 1/2 star. As it was better than 4 but not quite 5.

Doing business here is very frustrating. The website hours show they are open until 8:30 but they close the kitchen almost an hour beforehand and calling in an order is equally as frustrating because they often stop serving early based on how busy they are.

Very tasty. If you like some spicy business and enjoy eating with your hands, this might be the place for you. The food is tasty and the portions are generous. The coffee is an experience to be tried at least once. Near to a couple of specialty markets equipped with various yums and kind folk.

This is a great experience. Clearly, it’s not your average meal out. The food is very different from what you would typically eat in an average American diet. It truly transports you to a different place. Now I know you need to order more than one injera. Just be sure you know you eat with your fingers and scoop up the FLAVORFUL dishes. I love that both gluten-free and vegan can find great delights. Next time, I hope to hear Ethiopian music and see the Ethiopian flag. Maybe I just missed them in all my wonderment of trying something new. Check it out in person or take-out. I saw plenty of both.

We order take out from this restaurant all the time! The food is always flavorful and well-prepared and the prices are quite good, at least compared to other Ethiopian places I’ve eaten at. We usually order the three-meat combo with Quey wot, and serving sizes are good for two people, although you may want to order sambusas on the side. Injera portions are always enough for the meal. Can’t wait to order again!

We arrived Saturday, April 2nd 2022 in the morning. We arrived at 11:30AM. We were the first customers of the day, and a nice young lady came and got our order. The place is simple, a cafeteria styled restaurant. It is next door to an Ethiopian market. The food came out in about 20 minutes. The food was hot, delicious, fragrant, and DELICIOUS. We ordered the combo for 2 people. It came with Injera bread, and three proteins. We chose lamb, chicken, and beef, along with three vegetarian options.

With all the good reviews on here I had to check them out. However, I was pretty disappointed with my meal. The beef was really tough. I had to chew the beef a lot before I could swallow it. The flavor of the beef was mediocre too. The collards were very bitter and not seasoned well. The cabbage however was very good. Something weird happen too. They took back the original injera they brought to my table, but I had already started eating it. The chef came out and said it wasn’t cooked right lol. So did I eat something that was old or something that fell on floor or something lol? I still don’t know. That has never happen to me before at an Ethiopian restaurant. The staff was really nice though. I personally won’t go back because I think Tabor in Baltimore is way better, but maybe I caught them on an off day.
