Set up like a cafeteria. Food is fresh, hot and home made like Granny used to do. Family oriented.

It’s more of a cafe style. Servings are large portions, and deserts are excellent. You can get multiple sides if you want for a decent price.

My wife and I stopped here on Thanksgiving after receiving a recommendation from a Facebook Ellijay group. How many places in Ellijay are really open ON Thanksgiving, after all?

Enjoyed lunch here during a recent day trip to Elijay. The food was mostly tasty, though one of my fried side items tasted like it had been sitting our for awhile. The service was friendly and there is ample seating for small or large groups – and ample parking too. Atmosphere was basic but pleasant enough.

I’ve eaten here 3x in the past week. The food both times for lunch was very good (pot roast once, chicken pie another time, and my guest had grilled fish, all the lunch sides were very good!

One of the best places to eat in town. It makes me think of all the country cooking places that were all I over America, before the chains pushed them out. The staff is always nice and the food is always great. The prices are also very reasonable and it’s a hit with the whole family. It’s nice to be able to take the family out, without breaking myself.

The peach cobbler was hot and delicious. We had fried chicken and fish as Meats and various vegetables for desert. Staff were nice and helpful. The reason for a 3 star rating is because the fried catfish tasted a little fishy and the chicken was just ok – not that great. The green beans were bland as well. It wasn’t a bad meal, but more average. We may have caught them on a off day – based on previous high ratings. Maybe next time will be better.
