Waitress was friendly, my dons pancakes were burned on the bottom and had to be remade, my eggs were over cooked and their sausage has no flavor. Their fried dough was very oily and not even warm enough to melt the room temp butter. Asked for my home-fires well done and they were waxy and barely done definitely not week done.

I ordered the comfortable eggs, it’s 2 eggs on villa bread , with bacon and home fries , when the waitress brought it I said the bread is not villa bread are you out of it today, she said I’ll have to ask, well the owner came to our table and started yelling at one of the people at our table that he’s never happy with anything there and told him to leave his restaurant, well that person at the table never said anything about the food , I asked because I wanted villa toast like the menu said , the owner put my eggs on sour dough bread without asking and I hate sourdough, that restaurants is awful and the food was gross !!

Stopped on our 6 hour ride home. Wife ordered ham and cheese sandwich…bread was stale. First two things I ordered were not available. Finally got a burger which was okay. Daughter ordered a sandwich which she wouldn’t finish because “it tasted weird.” Maybe just a bad day for this place.

I’ve eaten dinner here a few times and breakfast every weekend since they opened. The food is excellent, the pricing is good, customers are friendly, often chatting between tables, and the staff from cook to dishwasher to servers , are all obviously there because they want to be…not just because it’s a job. Their friendships and mutual respect for each other are a pleasure to see. The atmosphere is friendly and welcoming, and urges you to get to know your neighbors. Great job!!
