We had the pulled pork sandwich and the goat sandwich ( combination pulled pork and brisket). This was some of the best slow smoked bbq I’ve ever had. If you are passing through it’s well worth stopping for. Great food and generous portions.

The food was fine, although cold and the pulled pork needed salt. The owner was extremely rude. My wife politely asked for salt – to which the owner responded by saying repeatedly, louder volume each time, “It’s not for the public, Miss! It’s not for the public, Miss!” 3 times. She tried to explain we were eating HIS food but he just said it even louder. My son wanted to get some more barbecue sauce for his meal, but after this interaction was afraid to talk to the owner, knowing he finds his customers a nuisance. We aren’t the public, we are paying customers.

Not impressed… ordered the pulled pork sandwich and pulled pork fries. The pulled pork had zero flavor, tasted like it came from a crock pot not a smoker. The bun was cold and stale- I threw the entire thing away. On top of that the owner was a huge jerk… there was a young girl working/being trained; her dad stopped by to ask her when she would be getting off work so he could pick her up. The owner told him he would not be able to stop by whenever he wanted like that -and asked if that was a problem. The dad who seemed shocked said “um, ok” and left. If it were my daughter I would have kindly answered yes that’s gonna be a problem and taken her and left! Total controlling D-Bag if you ask me. Food sucks and his attitude is even worse! Don’t bother stopping… head to Stewart’s Drive-In down the road!

This place was a little shake in a parking lot. Seen it a few times traveling by and made a poi t to try it on out latest trip. Was by far the BEST bbq I have ever had from a shop. The brisket was definitely the highlight of my meal. The pulled pork came out a tad dry but mixing it with either BBQ sauce made it almost as good as the brisket. The mild BBQ sauce was extremely good. The spicy sauce had a hidden kick and was still extremely flavorful. The ribs literally melted off thr bone into my mouth. Last, the fried pickles were the perfect texture and flavor to complement the brisket. If you drive by this place, it is a must try. I will definitely be going here again every time I drive by that way again.

LOVE this place! Every time we go over the mountains we stop here. My favorite: The GOAT (a combination of pulled pork and beef) topped off with their Spicy BBQ condiment sauce. My mouth is watering now at just the thought. Oh yeah.
